20 Type 056 corvettes to be handed over to the China Coast Guard ? New batch of 054A is also 20 ships...
Looks like the early 056s are really going to be transferred to the Chinese CG. Now they got new digital billboard and the chimney shape has changed.
So it seems the original 20 type 056 is going to the coast guard. PLAN will use only ASW variant? Wonder if more type 056A will appear or this 20 will be replaced by 20 new 054A which few have launched recently.
There're 22 056 corvettes. I won't be surprised if PLAN transfer some of their 056s to CCG, but 20... really?
It's confirmed. 20 at least are transferred to CCG to make rooms for new frigates. Missile launchers have all been dismantled and new CCG paint have also been applied as well.
Wow! Is there any picture of that? So, are they going to refit the rest two 056s, or just to sell them?
