Yes this limited missiles load especialy in Asia can be surprising but almost all Missile Boats don' t have TL and even sonar in more small radars with a enough short range

I am amazed how close the two ships are build together, talk about maximising space. Is that another 054A being build next it ? Forget the question, the photo on the 054A thread just answered it, but why all the self censoring, can this be a different variant, perhaps the elusive 054B.
I think the informal "rule" with pictures of unfinished ships is that they only show what can also be seen on a completed ship: so whenever a picture contains some details of the "inside" of a module it will be censored to avoid problems.

Translation:
To this date, there are 30 of model 056 light frigates commissioned since the first, "Bengbu" pennant number 582, did in Feb, 2013. There are confirmed order of 70. There can be more than 100 in total.

found this seconds ago:
28 and 29th homeported to Lianyungang 21th Light Frigate Sqn, ESF in addition to 503, 586 so now 4 x 056 normaly full 3th Sqn full on 9 Sqns equiped.Continued pics of commissioning.
Humm no sure right now eventualy as always with China
up to 40 - 60 to see...The calculation is simple now planned sure 9 Sqns to receive 4 x 056 : 36 for it almost sure and i have 2/3 others Sqns later so up to 48 after... ?

I see some have quoted from a source that says there are 30 056's commissioned, but from every other source the total is actually 29.
There were 27 056's in the fleet, prior to the recent 2 new commissioning's. Don't know where this ghost ship came from?
Anyway, according to Henri.K's build timetable of the 056, we should see some further commissioning's very soon, in which he also claims, based on current forecasts we could be looking at a class total of around 70 vessels.
