Actually I believe C-803 exist, it is another name for YJ-83.

C-80X are export designations, so far only YJ81 and YJ82 were exported so only C801 and C802(A) existed, thus technically the designation C803 doesn't exist yet. Plus it's a Russian article cross posted by Global Times, so yeah, not legit.

YJ-## are for local use. Export missiles have the C-### designation.
YJ-81 - C-801, YJ-82 - C-802, YJ-62 - C-602, etc
I have not seen YJ-83 offered for export.
Similarly, C-701/703, C-704 have been exported but is not used locally. So no "YJ" designation such as YJ-74.

I don't agree with that. YJ-82 is the submarine launched version of YJ-8/A. YJ-81 is the air launched version of YJ-8/A. We've clearly seen air launched and sea launched versions of C-802. C-802AKD's best domestic corollary for example is KD-88. C-802A seems the most comparable to YJ-83. There is also CM-802AKG, which seems to be comparable to other variants of KD-88.

Dang! Those are very nice looking and capabple OPVs. They will serve the PLAN well and in some significant numbers is my bet. Very nice lines.

Most of the new PLAN warship are very stealthy by modern definition, but I been thinking about US navy's next generation warship the Zumwalt class destroyer, the stealth feature is just out of the league, there nothing on the surface, no radar dooms, no mass, just one smooth superstructure, I wonder how can they come up with this technology, because the current warship in inventory are not stealthy at all, you can see life boats hanging on the sides of Arleigh Burke, so how can they jump from no stealth to total stealth, while completely ignore the stage of semi stealth like PLAN and all other warships produced around the world.

Just because the USN did not produce and field any destroyers with "semi-stealth" before progressing to "full-stealth" doesn't mean there isn't R&D in the background or in other classes. The LCS(s) are "semi-stealth". As for Zumwalt being minimal, the USS Monitor from the Civil War was pretty minimal too. Concept of stealth isn't new at all.

Sea Shadow was built in 1984 to develop stealth ships of future US Navy. And latest AB destroyers have very good stealth features.

Sea Shadow was built in 1984 and used in secret but normal service until her public debut in 1993, to examine the application of stealth technology on naval vessels. In addition, the ship was designed to test the use of automation to enable the reduction of crew size. The ship was created by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the U.S. Navy and Lockheed. ""

I guess LCS is the example that I am looking for, however looking at the ships, you can still see the conventional mass and sensor equipment attached, but I wonder how can they do the same Zumwalt with almost complete smooth surfaces.
