I did a quick visualization of the Dual and Quad pack on the UVLS. it seem that even HHQ-16 would fit, since it has 0.34m in diameter

View attachment 112688I tried further with 3x3. UVLS is actually large enough for 3x3 HQ-10 (127mm diameter), but I'm not sure if it's useful to have so many short range SAM.
2x2 still seem to be useful though, you can have the 340mm HQ-16 or the 324mm torpedoes

We should concern about the missile weight. I think that each UVLS cell holds 1,500 kg only.

No.9 and No.10 Type-055s are auctioning for some subsystem, probably countermeasure related.

Note it is auctioned by Institute 704 in Shanghai not the shipyard directly, delivery deadlines are July 10 and August 30.

Since Jiangnan is already building 2 055s right now, sooner of later I believe we can expect the same from Dalian.

So far, there is no clear indication of any new 052DL hulls that are to be laid down in Dalian, apart from those 3 052DLs that are already under construction inside that dry dock right now.

Let's see what comes into that drydock after those 3 052DLs are launched in the coming months. My guess is either 2-4 (up to 6 possible!) 2nd-batch 055s, or the sister ship of Fujian i.e. CV-19.

Welll, it is a priority but probably not the 1st priority ... to me, the first priority now is SSN and SSK
1. SSN & SSK
2. J-20
3. 055
4. J-35
5. 054B
6. 052E
etc

Chinese Land Force is already very strong (impenetrable), the Airforce and Navy are already very strong too but the SSN is quite weak compare to the USN. J-20 is already the top in the world, comparable to F-22 and better than F-35 ... but China need to increase the number of J-20

I guess the priority is numbers (of vertical cells).
Leaving aside for an active the enormity of the USN's 7,000-plus, because given what is happening in Ukraine with the sharp division between subsonic and hypersonic missiles (lots of stuff, as we say in Italy);

China alone with 055s will go to over 1,000.

(I have not counted the Russian ones).
