The last picture is quite symbolic. A new generation of surface combatant backed up by China's economic juggernaut (represented by the Lujiazui Financial District).

You can see the helicopter tracking radar on the left of the hanger doors. It looks like an old school Type 349. Similar to Type 347G, but has a flattened disk instead of a conical one.

Perhaps those are tracks for mechanized helicopter handling for use in rough weather, when it would have been excessively dangerous to manhandle the helicopter on a pitching and rolling deck. Many soviet and Russian warships have similar mechanized helicopter deck handling system.

The helicopter handling systems on some soviet warships such as the kirov and Udaloy classes deserve more comment and study. They are far, far more elaborate than seen on any western warships, with far more emphasis placed on space saving and mechanization. It looks like the type 055 adopted some of their features.

It seems Arleigh Burke also has similar tracks

Those are tracks for moving helicopters in and out of hangars. The towing mechanism is embedded beneath the deck surface. You basically hook a helicopter to it through the gap. The mechanism then moves along the tracks, dragging the helicopter into hangar or moving it out to the takeoff spot.
