I think if one has been following the construction of this ship for the last few months then it is quite obvious that the latest photo does not suggest two ships side by side.
Just going off that one pic, it could also show two modules of the same shop just not joined together yet.
Nice. For July 21st, that is well after the mid June photos of the initial suspected modules in that position, meaning what we're seeing is almost definitely the same modules from satellite.
Measurement shows that the beam of this is about 19m, or maybe 20m if one judges the pixel density a little more generously.
So it looks like it is within the possible estimates of 055's beam, but it's on the low end, and the beam is even smaller than the same satellite image of the Wuhan mock up.

I was thinking of getting my Paint Shop Pro fired up and then thought...no, why do that when Bltizo will have it done soon any way.
And there you have it! LOL!
Time will tell...but is most certainly could be the 1st Type 055. We need some progress either forward, or on the fan tail to start being able to tell for sure.

Going back to the original picture where I measured the beam, I may have slightly underestimated it, because I was measuring the beam not from the widest point of the ship (i.e.: the lower main deck, or the "crease" seen on the hull from photos on the ground) but from the slightly higher "weather deck" levels which are more prominent on satellite images...
If I try to measure the beam from the "crease," then what I get is a beam of about 20.2m, which while more reasonable with our expectations, is still a bit on the small side. I was expecting 21m beam at least.
