more pictures of the 4th 054A from HD shipyard. It still amazes me that they managed to get the ship launched in 10 days when looking back at the pictures of it earlier this month. It's actually kind of amazing how much sensors are on this ship right now. Looks like they really stepped up the efforts.

－－目击东海舰队海空实兵实弹演练

海上，战舰火光频闪；空中，战机携云裹雾。
7月初，由海军东海舰队数十艘舰艇和十余架战机组成的大型海空编队，在东海某海域进行海空实兵实弹演练。
海面上，只见一枚来袭导弹吐着长长火舌，向海上舰艇编队袭来，编队战舰择机发射对空导弹，将来袭导弹迎头击落。与此同时，又一枚导弹来袭，在我舰艇编队密集的炮火网中，再次被击中坠落大海。
此间，空中编队战机捕获“敌”舰，锁定威胁。
“实施导弹攻击！”只见导弹拖着长长尾焰，呼啸着扑向大海深处的小目标……很快，令人振奋的消息从各战斗舰艇传来———
反舰导弹攻击成功！
来袭导弹被编队击落！
新型防空导弹命中目标！
战机发射的导弹有效抗击来袭目标！
……
战机俯冲，战舰驰骋，海天间留下一道道美妙弧线。
东海舰队有关领导告诉记者，这次例行性演练有效提高了舰艇编队在复杂电磁环境下遂行作战任务的能力，不仅探索了新的战法训法，还检验了海空协同综合攻防作战能力。

That's the 054A firing the HQ-16 from the VLS...it'd be nice if they show the launch from the VLS cells, though...

Interviews With Captain Li & Staffs Of 054A Frigate 570 Huangshan


李文才，南海舰队某驱逐舰支队"黄山"号新型导弹护卫舰硕士舰长。

记者："黄山"号护卫舰和以前型号比，您觉得其先进性体现在哪些方面？

李舰长：我从进入海军就一直在这支部队，到目前为止，我当过了2种型号舰艇的舰长和3种型号舰艇的副长，主要是护卫舰。现在的新型舰艇无论是舰船的设计理念还是建造工艺，还有舰员的生活设施都改善很多，舱室的布局比较合理。

记者：有人认为现在护卫舰和驱逐舰的界限在逐渐消失，您是怎么看的？

李舰长：各个国家，驱逐舰和护卫舰的分类标准都不太一样，就中国海军而言，驱逐舰和护卫舰的吨位和综合作战能力确实比较接近，区别不大，但是担负的具体作战任务就有很大的区别。

记者：您认为我国海军护卫舰未来的发展方向是什么？

李舰长：我国海军护卫舰的发展，应该以围绕保卫我国海上权益为核心，能够保证我国近海海上交通线的安全，能够体现中国作为一个负责任大国的形象，进一步强化远海作战能力，能够应付任何海上突发事件。

这次我们"黄山"舰参加亚丁湾护航，可以说是首次亮相，也是对新型舰艇远海作战能力的一种考验，从动力系统的可靠性、武备系统的作战性能到适应新环境的能力都得到检验。

机电长：黄跃飞 湖北人

记者：您在这个岗位上工作多长时间了？

机电长：我以前曾在2个型号护卫舰的机电部门工作过，对比现在新型舰艇，我感到变化还是非常大的，主要体现在以下几个方面：

第一是新型舰艇的自动化程度有明显进步，较老的舰艇，我们机电部门工作都是在下面直接和舰艇发动机打交道，而现在绝大部分操纵都是通过信息化设备来实现；

第二是监控系统更加先进，以前监控只能靠一些简单的仪表，而现在则是通过计算机网络实现集中监控；第三是安全保护上更完善与可靠。

记者：这种变化是不是也带来了工作方式、工作环境的转变？

机电长：对。比如说现在工作环境的噪音比从前小多了。虽然工作压力有所减轻，系统也可以在无人值守的状态下自动运行，但为了安全起见，岗位上还是有24小时的值班，来负责检查和监控。

记者：从新型舰艇动力的实际使用来看，是不是有了新的发展?

机电长：进步还是很明显的，过去，舰艇连续长时间航行的时间很短。而现在参加亚丁湾护航行动已经充分证明，只要按照规定进行必要保养和维护，新型舰艇动力是可以在故障率低的情况下保持长时间连续航行的，而且也经受了不同气候和海域的考验。

记者：您感觉到了新型舰艇工作，最大的压力是什么？

机电长：主要是知识上急需更新，新装备对舰员的学习能力和知识结构提出了新的要求。我们只有更努力地学习和钻研，才能掌握好手中的新型装备。

记者：您以前也是在护卫舰工作吗？

机电班长：对，是一型老型号的护卫舰，然后就参与了新舰艇的接装，和黄机电长配合的很好。黄机电长的业务素质很优秀，我也学到了不少东西。

记者：您的专业是什么？

机电班长：电工。当然新装备的到来也要求我们要掌握一些新的技能和知识。在接装新装备之前，比如我们机电部门的人就会到相关院校学习有关新型舰艇的业务知识。此外，我们也会到相应的新装备生产厂家进行培训。我感觉到新型舰艇上来工作，这种技术上的跨越还是很大的。

记者：在新型舰艇上工作这么长时间一定有一些难忘的经历吧。

机电班长：是的。比如在我舰去亚丁湾护航期间，看到中国商船拉起了"感谢人民海军"的横幅，感觉非常激动和自豪。当我舰到阿曼港停靠的时候，有不少中国人从很远的地方专门来到港口欢迎，他们的这种行为很令我感动。

记者：家里人知道你在国产最新型舰艇服役么？

机电班长：家里人最多知道我在军舰上工作而已。机电部门大部分是技术性的岗位。我的专业是电工，如果能够在这样的高技术舰艇上显示出自己的能力和作用，即使将来离开部队会到社会，也会有相当的竞争力。

记者：现在是否已经达到了你最满意的状态？

机电班长：还不算。因为这艘新型舰艇技术含量高，就是从我们这个部门来说，如果要把它全面吃透，还要付出更多的努力。

It seem like in a lot of Chinese artilces, a lot of reporting said things like the sailors were surprise at the sophistication of new ships they were transfered to.I have a question.

Do the China Navy do re-training and refreher course to their servicemen periodically, particularly if they are to be transfer to new ships?

It looked like they are always trained on the job, trying to master the new skill after being transferred.I don't think that is a good policy if a conflict suddently appeared as the seamen have yet to fully master the ship.
