There is a new structure on the top of the hanger, possible for a new radar or some other RF equipment. The 054A/P has a base to install the export Type 517E VHF radar, similar to what the ships on top has, and that's something totally new as far as the 054A class is concerned. But there are also indications that these are not new ships, but old ships that have some wear and tear. Another thing to note is that the pictures are of two separate ships, not two pictures of the same ship from different angles.

I watched it few days ago, informative and got emotional. Along with the j-10 and wz-10 one.
I will make you guys decide if these two ships are 054A being MLU or if they are 054A/P.
Note the base installed on top of the hanger and compare this to the additional radar being added to the 054A/P on the back on top of the hanger. It looks like a Type 517 variant or metric wave radar. This is the official model of the 054A/P.
The next is another ship, likely to be the 054A/P in a dock across the Huangpu river where the 075s are built and where another 054A/P is still being built. Note that it also has this base built on top of the hanger.

Sorry, I think now these two ships are 054 without the A, namely 525 and 526. The structure on top of the hanger is for the Type 347G radar used to support the AK630 guns on top of the hanger. The 054A would have a smaller, conical shaped base there in the same location used for a SATCOM.
The first ship of 054AP is going to launch very soon
Meanwhile their Turkish corvettes are nowhere to be seen due to western sanction on Turkey. Go figure.

The first ship was planned to be delivered within 54-months from Oct 2019 and that has nothing to do with sanctions (so far). By the time of the deal, the naval shipyard command was already busy with domestic Milgem orders of three ships.
