Other than 054A+, does anybody have any articles talking about potential successful to type 054A series (say 054B)? 056 is only a corvette.

Not that I know of. That's a big question out there. I would say the major assumption for no additional 054A's is the introduction of the universal VLS which makes the one on the 054A somewhat obsolete. But if the PLAN thinks otherwise perhaps we will see more 054A's, especially 054A+'s, I think there is actually a fair chance of this.
The 056 is clearly not in the same league, however the 052D is, and is bigger, better, but more expensive. I think there is also a fair chance that if China splurges conservatively it might order more 052D's rather than create a new class of ships to succeed the 054A.
Then there is the off chance that if China splurges innovatively it might create a new class of ships to take over from the 054A its within-first-island-chain duties while the 052D handles its bluewater ones. I see this being a truly stealthy, high speed, USN LCS/ROC Tuo River type rough equivalent, using the universal VLS and as well armed as the 054A+. This new class would act as reinforcement for 056's, pack leader for 022's, and free up all current blue water capable combatants for blue water duties.
