Yes and you can just about make out 168 at the bottom left hand side, the new pennant style is not very reading friendly, now it's much harder to identify the ships, the old black style was very informative

Yep. It sure is 168, Guangzhou, but with the new pennant number style.

I agree, I sometimes wish members, when posting photo's, actually added a few words of text on their posts in relation to their photo's.
It would take the guesswork out, and lead to fewer posts!

That would make it the 10th from HD and the 18th of the total
We should be seeing a 9th from HP soon, which would mean the 19th of the total
I would guess the 18th and 19th are launched this year, we should then see what going on in the yards, we could see pieces of the 20th and 21st by year end, however Type 056 and cutters are also under build so might be a slow year for Type 054A but wouldn't bet on that
HD is a good yard, for military so far they launched 10 Type 054A, 3 F22P, 4 Type 056, 3 Type 071 LPD, a electronic surveillance ships and maybe more in the last say 6-7 years, not bad around 3 units a year

Looks like the exact same one shown on page 142, one of the light frigate export offers, lighter than the 054A by about 1000t.
