Yes...we are seeing the same type of rapid production and launch of these vessels as we saw with the last four Charlies!

Very impressive.

I don't speak Chinese either. Or I should say I read at perhaps a 2nd or 3rd grade level, and I speak but pigeon Chinese.

To be fair, that magazine scan was mostly for the pictures anyway.

And of course, non chinese readers can't post a google translate of a picture.

No offense, but just six or seven posts before this one, you could see the exact same picture already posted to this thread and in higher def.

No problem if it was several pages ago...but do scroll down a bit when you see what you think is a new picture and see if it has already been posted.

It's a great pic for sure.

No doubt the Chinese carrier will be built in modules and those modules are to be built and fabricated inside a work hall so I am not really expecting to see a carrier as of yet visible in like a dry dock

But that is a nice picture the minesweeper and the LCAC are gone I wonder of the LCAC is with the 989 now which means all LPD have their own LCAC which really I expect to rise to a full compliment of 12 once all the numbers are in

What is going on with 152 Jinan ? That ship was suppose to be commissioned on 16 may but so far nothing. Its has been 27 months since her launch ! It seems that the shipyards are focussing more resources on Type 052D and Type 056 then the "old" Type 052C and Type 054A. Since 578 Yangzhou also hasn't been commissioned and that ship was launched more than a year ago. Which is the normal time span from launch to commissioning for a Type 054A.
