Anyone else know anything about tthis publication? It's accuracy? Forbin? NavyReco? Tphunag? Bltizo?
This shows seven Type 052Ds luanched, with three commissioned. Two or three more should be launched in 2016, and another two in 2017 to round out these first twelve. I am not sure what the plans are thereafter, but I would be surprised in the PLAN did not keep building more.
When you couple this with the six Type 052C vessels, this is an extremely potent and powerful modern guided missile destroyer force in and of itself.
With the Type 052s being updated, the Type 051B being updated, the Sov updates (those three classes add seven more large. modern destroyers), and with the advent of the Type 055s soon...well, the PLAN surface combatant force becomes second only to the US Navy on the entire planet..
I'll show all of the Type 052C and Type 052Ds in the next three or four posts.
