We are so back.

Some of the first batch bidding come online today. They are bidding for four linear motors, four elevators, one net barrier and Four arresting gear. Ideally

The first elevator is expected to be delivered in August 2024, the 2nd one in October, the 3rd one in December and the 4th one in February 2025.

The net barrier is expected to be ready in April 2026.

The linear motor (a.k.a subsystem of EMALS) is expected to be deliver respectively on June, August, October and finally December 2024.

But if these larger modules and elements are to be delivered by 2024 - which in fact is not much far away - shouldn‘t be see already “something“ or at least we should see something soon!`?

Precisely. While a lot of people just pay attention to the technology side of the development, I always think the operational and experience side are equally - in fact, more so now that they've gotten to the 003 level technology - important. That's why even if the nuclear-powered one is almost ready, I would still think they should build at least another Type 003. I have been very curious when we would see the signs of another 003, in Dalian, say.
They already went cautious once by building the CV17, which the Chinese navy scientists and engineers said was unnecessary but the Military Party committee insisted. Now in retrospect it really wasn't necessary. So going straight to a nuclear CV19 is more likely.
