This is definitely going to be an unpopular opinion, but I disagree with the majority. Digging up Queen Victoria's (the queen of the British Empire during the first and second Opium Wars along with the Boxer Rebellion) coffin and pissing on her skeleton is one thing, but digging up the ruins and corpses of soldiers who just follow orders is another. The latter is as dehumanizing as Western commentators calling Russian soldiers "sunflower fertilizer" and jeering at their grieving families. Soldiers are soldiers. They execute orders and go home. They are not the decision makers, and the dead can't fight back. As for the burning down of the palaces, every civilization pulled this stunt. We can go down a rabbit hole on the horrible acts of every single country if you want, and that includes the previous dynasties of China.

I am not Russian, but I have many Russian friends, so when I see Russians being dehumanized I take it personally. When I see westerners celebrating the deaths of Russian soldiers, I respond by openly celebrating 9/11, the Paris attacks, mass shootings, or deaths from COVID in the west. That usually shuts them up. I guess it makes them reflect on their own comments. I am no fan of dehumanizing people, nor do the deaths of western people make me happy. However, if you see your friend being targeted, the only thing to do is to retaliate.

Germany turned its economy into a tool against china well before this year, when it gave the anglos full unrestricted access to its economy by destroying nordstream and doing nothing about it. They should not get too upset about China now eating up its lunch in manufacturing considering they didn’t care about the Anglo sabotage.

if it helps, the anglos (since the five eyes are one political entity governed across the Atlantic) can rest assured knowing the steel of their hulks will be used for Chinese research in atomics and space exploration.

Sorry. I just cannot agree with this. The British did not show the same respect to enemy combatants. They don't show the same respect to enemy soldiers whom they considered as racially inferior.

When the British soldiers killed Qing soldiers and Boxers. They put dead enemy heads on spikes. They collected scalps. British commandos posed over the corpses of dead communist guerillas in Malaya, as if they were in a safari. Were they under orders to do so? Or was it just for fun? Or was it both? Do they really deserve the same respect when they are dead?

The British, and the West in general will have no second thoughts about desecrating the dignity and the remains of dead combatants that they don't like.

Based on how they handled PVA remains, it sounds like they don't.

From rebel guerillas, to Soviet soldiers. They have no regrets after insulting the sacrifice of the Soviets in WW2. Hence, they do not deserve the kindness and respect of that they are demanding of everyone to give.

Along with the Chinese and literally every other army. There is a reason why Vietnam was always wary of and currently has hatred towards China. In every single war, atrocities happen. The worst and best of us all come out. There is no such thing as kindness in war. Go piss on the enemy all you want if you are a participant in the war. But pissing on their corpses decades or even centuries after the war is a different story. You are taking advantage of their inability to fight back to get revenge. That is extremely low. There is one thing to piss on the decision makers' corpses as that scares future leaders from making the same mistakes their predecessors did. However pissing on a dead corpse of some long dead soldier is the bitchiest and lowest level of behavior a human being can perform.

Why must you defend the indefensible? Yeah Chinese dynasties burned each other.

Does pissing on a dead person who wasn't even a decision maker sound likea remotely respectable thing to do? Go beat up a terminally ill British elder like the Americans do to Chinese elderly in Chinatown and brag to your family and friends about that. I won't be surprised that you will be disowned on the spot.

So because of that, we should all accept that the British burned Imperial Beijing down as ok? So must we take the Japanese murder, pillage, and rape in China as acceptable? Were those soldiers just following orders, or having fun, or both? Many of them are enshrined in Yasukuni today. Did they deserve to be enshrined just because they served the Emperor? Will you pay your respects at the Yasukuni shrine since you firmly believe in the innocence of all soldiers in any war? What the hell is wrong with you?

The Yakasuni shrine is a monument, not a corpse, and monuments act as rally points for political groups. Those are two different things. Had I bumped into a corpse of Japanese IJA soldier in 2023, I would call the authorities and have them send back the remains to Japan in a respectable manner because I am not an active participant in the war.

Exactly. So why should one feel the need to shit on a soldier who is dead even though they aren't a participant in the conflict? If they want to do that, sign up for the combat units there. Don't be a keyboard warrior shitting on the dead from afar. At least they had the will and bravery to fight.

The US is trying to get the rest of the world to stop trading with China but wants to keep its economic ties open with China. Look at how the US is making all the money when they got Europe to break off with Russia. And now the US is trying to blame Russia and China for making the US out to be bad partner for the world hence why the world is talking back at the US and the West. I've said it before that if China can deploy a hypersonic glider that can drop conventional guided munitions, that's going to make Western countries think twice. They already admit the havoc hackers attacking the US electrical grid can do. Well look at what a bomb can do when you drop one on a power plant. Two wrongs don’t make it right, that statement is true but with how the UK and the USA having done this so often that it is almost literally their entire history and somehow believing their God given right to do so, to be honest, it would be high time that not only the two nations have their soldiers kills in massive enough numbers that the media cannot hide this, but also their remains should be given the same amount of respect that they give to others and then some as not only a warning to the west that no, just because doesn’t enact straight away doesn’t mean that he isn’t going to act and eventually give then their just deserts but also to show that what goes around comes around. You see the west have been dehumanizing everyone for so long, it is almost a duty of the rest of the world to return all of that harm with a massive amount of interest but to also do this in such horrific manners that I would probably get into trouble for uttering such details so that these so called elites can finally at king last have the fear of God forced into them for once and once and for all show that they simply are not special and that justice has finally come and they have no choice to bare witness to a world that will finally treat them with the same respect that they gave to an Native Indian American which is basically less then sh!t and this treatment ought to last for generations to basically do what they did to the Japanese, turn them into a race of useless c@cos while quite frankly is a fate richly deserved and which I suspect many people would be dying to see given how long they have been karmic houdinis for.
As horrible as this sounds but given how the Japs have never apologized for Nanjing, I will seriously enjoy watching China take the collective dignity’s of these evil people and drag into the dirt and then turning around and smash it.
