Nope, Unfair and Biased did it as well.

They were fighting a common foe, does it matter why? But anyway, you're OK with digging up Chinese war graves for profit, which doesn't surprise me.
Turnabout is fair play, so I'll tell you what: If you can find graves of Chinese soldiers who fought halfway around the world to protect China's imperial possessions, feel free to have at them.
why are you so bothered by this?

I wonder how those who find the PoW salvage story so funny would feel the same if people were digging up the graves of Chinese soldiers killed in WW2 to sell relics for profit? Remember, the sailors on HMS Repulse and PoW were fighting China's enemy too.

It doesn't say anything about Paul Allen dredging up wrecks for scrap, he was just exploring them and bringing up the occasional relic as a memorial (eg HMS Hood's bell) with approval of the relevant navy.
I think a lot of people are tired of these stories like “the Chinese” are always up to no good, the whole country are thieves and controlled by the government like marionettes.

I personally don’t condone what is happening if true, but the whole story seems cooked up by some AUKUS propaganda arm (notice the countries complaining?). “High quality steel created before the development of nuclear weapons”? We have almost 100 years of technological development, but we need to salvage wrecks? Are we still in the dark ages where we pick apart Hadrian’s Wall to build a pub?

And again, not to excuse this kind of terrible behaviour, but grave robbing and desecrating of historical sites is still super common. The Iraq war was terrible for this (and that went for every side involved)

adding one more point: The precise reason the Titanic sank (which is from the same vintage) is because the steel was crap

Why are you against the "largest Democracy" in the world? Why are you posting such negative and misinformed news on this particular Indian official who actually did a good thing by providing "Free and democratic" water to the farmers that did not need the water at that time?

Governance, effective governance has been hijacked by the rascals of "propaganda" called "Democracy" not to mention these so-called western values that's been coerced by Western countries led by the U.S. along with Europe to Africa - Gay rights. Splitting the society into arguing about issues that do not improve their actual stations in life so that their "elected leaders" can rob them blindly, obediently, for as long as these politicians sing the right "social justice" creed push forth by their western benefactors.

I told a Filipino worker recently who was raging hard against China being communist = bad/evil and I told him straight up that he's stupid and better shut his trap or I will do the shutting for him. I had to tell him that your country (Philippines) has been a so-called "Democracy" for close to 100 years now, and yet the level of poverty, criminality, corruption, and the gap between their super wealthy and the poor have been increasing not improving, The level of infrastructure in his country is bad, the connectivity of the provincial people to the city center is piss poor; electricity and source of energy is still an ongoing issue and will continue to worsen and more expensive since the governments of past administrations largely ignore that important economic source of growth.. I don't know where and why he has the audacity to slam China and criticize it's government for supposedly being bad when he's never been to the country, doesn't know the history nor the culture. Unaware and largely pretty freaking ignorant on the importance of China in terms of trade and tourism it brings to his home country the Philippines. The fact that China is far wealthier, more modern, safer, than his dumb ...t democratic of a country should tell him how insanely STUPID he is and the rest of his people that believes in that b.s.

I flatly told him, what has your democracy brought you? Please cite them and I will be more than happy to compare China's contributions to the world vs. what his country the PH contributions, achievements etc. under 2 very different systems. His face was blank and empty. I told him, don't ever talk badly about China and defame her like we owe you something. I don't expect him to agree with the points I raise but if you have nothing good to say keep it to yourself. I don't talk trash about the PH, Canada, America, EU because it's highly inappropriate in a professional environment and such opinions create a hostile working environment. The Chinese people he's worked with in the past may have been meek=weak and quite, unbothered by what they hear for reasons only they have the answers to, but I am a different kind of Chinese.
Phillippines is doomed to eternal poverty the day the Anglos broke the back of their independence movement. Its core is totally rotten, the only man who tried doing anything useful is Duterte, the colonial lackeys, stooges, sycophants, parasites and kleptocrats could having being looking down the barrel of a gun, but thanks to the Anglos, they get to keep their wealth for countless generations to come and continue their country sized grifting operation until the end of time.
Personally don't hold the people or government of the PRC responsible for the actions of these pirates. But you can bet that plenty of people on Twitter do. PRC should arrest and punish these scrappers:

I don't get why they are upset when people picks up and recycles the trash they've throw on the streets for free.

A Korean man got upset at the Asiana flight crew when they refused to give him a blanket because he couldn't speak or ask the word in the beautiful language and word of English. He heard the comment that if you want a "carpet" go and fly. So, he opted to open the plane's door to do just that.

Sarcasm...

On a serious note: What this man did was idiotic, wreckless, and very dangerous.

why did white anglos take an active role in the HK riots? Why are white westerners so active in Taiwan either on twitter or reddit or 4chan? Why can’t they leave well enough alone? Could centuries of dividing and conquering amongst themselves and towards victims of colonialism mean that is their default setting?
Take for eg the active role by a westerner in promoting the Rwandan genocide

modern westerners are the active embodiment of “chaos is a ladder”

The response to an “all of society” race war by the anglos is to target the very foundation of their idolatry.

China is the true democracy, therefore it will assume the papacy of democracy in the west and all western nations must bend the knee, kowtow to China.

A controversial proposal

Chinese landowners in Texas has been effectively killed after failing to meet a critical deadline for discussion in the House.

Yao Ming has

as the head of China's struggling national basketball league, the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). Yao, an eight-time NBA All-Star, had been leading efforts to commercialize the CBA since 2017. The reason for his departure was not specified, but the CBA's website expressed gratitude for his service and mentioned the board of directors' decision for new leadership. Corruption allegations have plagued the league recently, with two teams being ejected from the finals for unsporting conduct. Yao's replacement is Xu Jicheng, a veteran sports journalist with experience in managing major sporting events.

Selling land is sorta Texas' bread and butter (no state tax) and why stop the Chinese from contributing to economy?

No, is double standard thinking. Those scrappers should be awarded. F**k the UK! The British looted the Forbidden City and Yuanmingyuan. Burned the latter to the ground. Those British soldiers who did those things were awarded medals. The British pushed Opium into China. Till today, the British refused to return stolen treasures looted from Beijing. Till today the British are still meddling in HK and Tibet.

China should attempt to scrap the wreckage of any Royal Navy Ships in he SCS. Including the most famous one: HMS Prince of Wales. China shouldn't care what the British think. To hell with them. They are a poodle of the US today. Not worth the respect they are demanding. They don't care when they drugged China. They don't care when they dragged China through the mud. The Brits must realize that their time of reckoning is arriving. The Chinese government may be forgiving to the Brits. But the Chinese people will never forgive. So don't blame the PRC or some random Chinese scrapper. Blame the continuation of British imperialism to this very day!

This attitude is unfortunately the problem.

There is no such thing as HK people, only the country, it's allies and it's enemies. HK should not be governed by the "HK people" anymore than SZ is governed by "SZ people". A decline and fall of HK is a failure for China.

The central government is the sole responsible party when it comes to controlling the city, hiding behind excuses of "letting HK people choose" is the exact reason why far right terrorism has become an issue. Even more pathetic is hiding behind the excuse of "honoring" of treaties with genocidal aggressors, which not only should have no legal power, but they have themselves already broken the treaty by interfering into HK affairs when the deal called for non interference on both sides.

People are the way you treat them. The mainland is at fault for separating itself from HK for too long. Beijing didn't want to show itself mass murdering the cockroaches, but the destruction of Xinjiang terrorism already showed that more humane methods of reformation exist. And even if they have to resort to executions, just look at what's happening in other countries, like US and Israel. Such things happen all the time and are a fact of life. Some people would bitch about it, some people would cheer for it.
I cannot express agreement or disagreement with your opinion. Because the last time I did this, I was banned by the authorities, haha. This is also one of the reasons why I came here: the authorities do not like some of my criticisms of them. So I can only try to understand the real thoughts of the authorities on many things. Back to the Hong Kong issue, I do feel that Beijing is still thinking about continuing to play Hong Kong’s core role as the only window for the world’s capital to freely enter and exit the mainland market. And this core role, in the eyes of some people in the authorities, does indeed require Hong Kong’s local elite group to continue to implement it according to past and present successful experiences. In plain terms, these people need Hong Kong’s interest groups to continue to collude with mainland interest groups to continue to stably support the huge interest groups of the State Council departments in the mainland (in plain terms, interest groups that oppose further deepening reform and oppose a full transition to an internal circulation economy), this is an objective fact, no matter how many people do not like this point, they can only accept the status quo in the short term (unless there is a revolution or civil war). The events of 2019 made the mainland realize that the old model was not very safe, so they created a Hainan Free Trade Port and continued to let Yi Gang serve as governor of the central bank (this guy was still buying US Treasury bonds when inflation was at its worst in 2022). Well, I am sure this is another result of internal compromise. As for whether it will change in the future, I can only say wait and see. So you see, many things are not about willingness but about ability.
