Little Brownie Bakers, or LBB, notified the Girl Scouts on Monday morning that weather-induced power outages at their Louisville, Kentucky, factory, halted cookie production for the weekend of March 5, setting inventory even further back.

Weather-induced power outages in Kentucky in 2023? Is it the snow? Is it the rain? Is it the wind? Has the US power infrastructure fallen to 3rd-world standards?

Little Brownie Bakers has also said that mechanical issues have gotten in the way of production of Samoas, the popular caramel-coconut cookie. Of course. Remember how the dumping of tea into the Boston Harbor kickstarted the American Revolutionary War? Perhaps the Brits have gotten more alertful (read: sensitive) regarding how tea is handled elsewhere.

Therefore, it is not surprising that the BBC has gone way past the edge to scrutinize the grand plan behind Xi Jinping having two teacups while everyone else only has one. Who knows if two teacups signal Xi's intention of hoarding all those precious British tea by invading London in 2024?
