The Russians are to blame for this. For decades they put the West, and India ahead of China in their favoured nation order. The West was given bigger priority for businesses, while India was given bigger priority for arms deals. Russia gives India better arms deals than China. They could even lease to India, nuclear submarines. In the 00s they sold the best Flanker variants at the time to India. But China got slammed for copying the Flankers.
Prior to 2014. Russia acted like it was still the old Russian Empire. Cozying up to the West, while playing with the Chinese and the Indians. When the Ukraine War finally happened, so many so called 'friends' turned on Russia. Russia had to finally wake up that it is not the Russian Empire. No more Peter the Great renaissance.
Now when Russia is in a dark place. China truly stood up for Russia. India talked alot, but in the latest G20, India folded to Western pressure, agreeing to condemn Russia in a joint communique. Lavrov told the truth to everyone. That Russia is indeed under attack. To the Russians, this is an existential crisis. And the Indian audience in the crowd joined their Western counterparts to laugh at Lavrov. This is the true face of Indian 'trustworthiness'. Russia needs to it learn the hard way. Because that is the best way for it to sink in.
That'll be much easier to do now, since it's the Russian military who will be the biggest buyer of Russian arms. Russia should remind India that Russia always comes first. India have never been trustworthy, and they should be taught a lesson.
So you guys laughed at Lavrov at the G20? Ok you can wait back in the line for those Flanker parts. Hey you need more Russian ammunition? We're gonna need them 1st. Mother Russia is under attack, but you guys didn't believe it? Better believe it now!
