Not really.
I personally believe this is still about Taiwan.

The US knows that Taiwan would easily get crushed in a 1 on 1 with China.

So they are trying to set it up as China versus Taiwan + Phillipines + Japan + Australia + NATO support if this war should ever happen.
Also trying to make these countries patrol the nearby seas surrounding China regularly under the guise of "freedom of navigation"
Easier said than done. If it was so easy to get into a war, they would have recognized Taiwan already with formal embassies and diplomatic status.

Kinda depends on the value of the Shahed's ultimate target. If the value of the target is equal to $100K, then it's breaking even.
The value is not just in the target. it is also to make the missile launch to know about missile characteristics and they may put the area under observation to see the logistic trail.

On related important G20 news, Japanese Finance Minister is ditching an appearance at this summit opting instead to attend the unveiling of the 2023 budget in Japan. He'll be sending a deputy on his behalf and this recent development is not sitting well with India at all.

So much for quad partnerships, snubbing India the host country..

  • H.R. 554, which would allow the Treasury Secretary to bar Chinese officials and their families from receiving services from US financial institutions(Great, the bill should be passed as soon as possible.)

  • H.R. 510, which would pressure the International Monetary Fund to oppose an increase of the Chinese renminbi in Special Drawing Rights.( Who cares, China doesn't give a damn about IMF as China has multiple alternatives that were setup to replace IMF.

  • H.R. 803, which directs US officials to exclude Chinese officials from meetings of the G20 and other bodies(Who do you think you are? Republicans are running by a bunch of morons. Without China, there is no G20 since there already is G7).

  • H.R. 540, which directs US officials to support Taiwan membership in the IMF. This also was referred to the Foreign Affairs Committee(Irrelevant)

  • H.R. 1156, which requires Treasury to issue a report on the economic risks from the Chinese financial sector(It should be the risk of the US financial system and Dollars and the reckless Fed that should be investigated.)

  • H.R. 839, to pressure the IMF to advocate for more transparency from China on its exchange rate(Another pointless bill with no value and show Republicans are a bunch of morons.)
