Market in China seems to be way too competitive for Telsa's approach, they really have wasted their first mover advantage. You can't ride off consumer goodwill forever and not modify/change your lineup according to market demands.

They will only be left in the dust as up and coming Chinese brands are moving and Innovative at break neck pace, while Tesla is moving barely faster than legacy ICE makers.

BYD needs to move faster and take market share away from tesla in overseas market as well.

2023 version of BYD Qin+ DM-i on the market now. Pricing lowered to compete with ICE cars directly.
I feel like Qin+ right now is just an uncompetitive model.

These are expected to be produced in Anhui and exported to Europe. VW currently has no plans for exporting any other EVs to Europe from China, but who knows.

And this Geely poster legitimately terrifies me. Seems like someone from above controlling my actions.
