I wouldn't rule out an unscheduled visit to Taiwan, but it would be a very sneaky thing to do.

I still think she will sneaking on to Taiwan and the news will be out once she leave.

It will look weaker than going front door like original plan but US left leaning media will be able spin this as victory. China might be able to spin this as their victory too, because they are forced Pelosi to sneak in and out of the island like rat.

Although, GOP will have fun over this if it happen like that.

I hope Beijing can be somewhat satisfied its concerns are 'heard' and accomodated for (not saying I think it has, but I just hope), even if Pelosi does land in Taiwan on an unofficial basis. Let's continue on the path of peaceful resolution, for the good of all Chinese people...

Let's be crystal clear on one thing: China isn't satisfied with any of this. It may choose less escalatory paths but that's merely a tactical consideration. The problem isn't with Pelosi visiting and in what capacity, the problem is that the US has a presence in China's dominion. China will solve that problem at the root one day, but as I said before, now's not the time.
