Just like the sputnik-V vaccine, I believe the Russians already communicated that they can reprogram sputnik-v for new variants within 24 hours or so.

Maybe they can. But can they produce it quickly?
All this Sputnik talk is just for show IMO. They have the vaccine but not the production capacity
But I guess Chinese vaccines can do the same thing and they have the production capacity. Russia might cooperate with China do the research together, Russia can produce for Russians and China can produce for its own citizens and BRI partners.
What is preventing Sputnik from outsourcing their vaccine production to a Chinese Pharmaceutical Company. Surely it is no brainer if they want to maximize profit.
Sputnik has been trying to outsource to Italy, China, Brazil, India and Serbia. However, most of these facilities probably need months to setup and gain clearance. Beside, it is unknown how much raw ingredients Russia can produce.

Bigger question is why would China want to do that and divert resource away from their effort and help a competitor.
Yep. China is not a charity. I heard that they found a China partner for manufacturing though
Sputnik Chinese partner isn't expected to get the production running until second half of this year. So it is unlikely the Chinese government is giving out any help.
Sinopharm is retrofitted its six facilities and expanding its Beijing facility to increase production. And Sinovac is trying to expand its facility to 2 billion doses per year. All should be done before June.
We fucked up, but at least we're transparent and let the world know we did. Meanwhile, you did not, but that means you're hiding something because you must also have done since we do.
We fucked up, but we changed the guy who was there while we did through democratic process, so even though the new guy continues to do but at least we fuck up via democratic process so we're good. Meanwhile even though you don't but you're not democratic so you still suck.
