In Australia, the vaccination drive is getting chaotic. There is widespread confusion and total lack of coordination between the general public, the appointed medical clinics, the suppliers and the authorities. And many are jittery about getting the vaccine given the the AstraZeneca has been put on hold in a number of countries. They just don't trust their politicians.
Some comments from the Youtuve viewers:
Guaranteed to work everytime 60 percent of the time with no side effects apart from the people that got side effects. If I advertised a product like this I'd be in jail but gov using it to make everyone get the shot
Back in the 50s they were lining up people and spraying them with D.D.T. telling them it was safe...same scenario here. P.S. D.D.T. is banned.

I'm not sure about all of Australia but from the comments here and around the lunch table at work no one wants it , i dont and i hope morrison isnt stupid enough to mandate it he would be putting his life in jeapody

Good. If his life is in jeopardy then serves him right for being a worthless human being being propped up but Rupert Murdoch who is another person I hope whose life will be in jeopardy for all the lies he has spreaded
How about this mRNA vaccine from Guangzhou?China has two mRNA programs. They have NOTHING to do with any foreign companies. One team is headed by Zhong Nanshan (钟南山) and Zhang Biliang (张必良), the other is by 陈薇 (Chen Wei) and Qin Chengfeng (秦成峰) from Military Medicine Academy which also developed (headed by Chen Wei) the CanSino vaccine.

Manufacturing facility began construction December 2020. To be completed in 8 months (August 2021), begin supply thereafter. Capacity 1.2 billion a year.
The Fosun Pharma thing is only about Fosun to distribute BioNTech vaccine in China. And we don't even know if it will ever materialize.
P.S. is it your habit (the 2nd time) to conclude "China's pharmaceutical capabilities are not world class" without seriously gathering information?
Fosun is already distributing Biontech vaccines in Hong Kong.
First, Slovakia Health Minister was sacked for trying to procure Russian vaccines. Now, they want to intimidate anyone from using Chinese or Russian vaccines.
Is just the EU trying to cover up their shambles of vaccine procurement. So because China helps Hungary, and Serbia and some other countries, the EU dont want to give an opening for EU citizens to criticise the EU why other countries are vaccinating faster and they will open faster.
So the EU will ban the Chinese vaccines so that at least when these countries recieving chinese vaccines open then the EU wont allow these people to travel in the EU as a metaphorical "middle finger" to the EU "traitor" countries who didn't wait for EU vaccines.
don't pay attention to the EU, it is totally incompetent, see the scandal with stoping the AstraZeneca vaccine for political reasons to trash the company for the delays and just now the EU regulator announced it ia safe after all.
EU commision is incompetent and is doing blunders like these almost every 3-4 days

However the article's sub-title also mentioned the Chen Wei team

The SCMP report is pretty confusing or messy, instead of reporting the lead scientists or lead organisations, they report the sub-contractors or member entities.
Zhong Nanshan is the member of China Academy of Engineering. Chen Wei is from MME. IMO, there won't be any other entities in China that can grasp expertise, resources and investments in the similar level as these two. So whatever names reported in the near future, it is probably about one of the two.

As usual, the New York Times, the so-called "liberal media", was at its best in the subtle playing down of any Chinese achievement, in this case, China's 5th coronavirus vaccine, which was just approved for emergency use the other day.
