Yes, along with the pretty Yau Wai Ching. Yau quit politics after her jail term and got abit weird after that, talking about birth pill and gaining weight, regret her actions in the swear in ceremony.

It is dumb that they even allow these "kids" with no life experience or civil service to run for government. Anyways she is gonna get a similar "being chinese in the west racist" treatment while living in Hong Kong for a while ... that being random harrasments

I think it is sad in a way because they don't appear to be the trouble makers that we have seen so often in the last couple of yrs. He's chucked up a good job which gave him a comfortable living which given their lack of English skills, I don't think he will be able to replicate in the UK.

It's sad for them but that is the choice they made. I think many think it is for common good that they are more likely bible-reading jobless bums now. But of course their sadistic instinct allows themselves to be used again as propaganda for their faith and values. This is gods trial to spread the faith.

So sorry, Not sad at all.

The latest US Congress Bill that has just been passed has the so-called Hongkong democracy fund. Not less than $3million.

(3) HONG KONG.—
20 (A) DEMOCRACY PROGRAMS.—Of the funds appropriated by this Act under the first paragraph under the heading ‘‘Democracy Fund’’, not less than $3,000,000 shall be made available for democracy and Internet freedom programs for Hong Kong, including legal and other support for democracy activists.
3 (B) RESTRICTIONS ON ASSISTANCE.—None of the funds appropriated by this Act or prior acts making appropriations for the Department of State, foreign operations, and related programs that are made available for assistance for
Hong Kong should be obligated for assistance for the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese Communist Party or any entity acting on their behalf in Hong Kong.
12 (C) REPORT.—Funds appropriated under title I of this Act shall be made available to prepare and submit to Congress the report required by section 301 of the United States-Hong Kong Policy Act of 1992 (22 U.S.C.
17 5731), which shall include the information described in section 7043(f)(4)(B) of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2020 (division G of Public Law 116–94) and under this paragraph in the explanatory statement described in
section 4 (in the matter preceding division A of this consolidated Act).

Be watchful HK. That $3million could spell disaster.

Yes, Sorry @B.I.B.

Definitely not sad for them. I'm sorry that I sound harsh. But you got to think, These people, Although may not be directly involved with the thugs that have killed and set people on fire. Caused millions of $ of damaged. Caused disruptions at the airport, and with it Hong Kong's reputation as a peaceful place to invest and work. The damaged to Hong Kong's reputation must have caused billions of $ to the economy. so causing millions of people to suffered their actions.

Their support for their version of "freedom and democracy" made all the above happened, furthermore, their silence on the violence that have happened speaks volumes. It is as if, that they might as well carried out the deeds themselves. So They have blood on their hands.

And as for these "freedom and democracy" they are fighting for? These two look old enough to be around when it was British rule. So where were they, during the Colonial period? why weren't they out there fighting for freedom and democracy then? Instead, they are happy to live without democracy, a voice and with much less freedom. They are happy to be the subject of her majesty of a foreign land far far away!

Pretty, it make a change. I take it all back when I said why are all these Hanjian looks the same, all god damn ugly! ;) :D
She was on birth control pills. Probably having a good time. ;)

She should have used ....... condoms (pun intended) ;)

Yes, these kids not only not having life experiences. They probably have not contributed one iota of anything meaning full to society at large. These university kids got their education on public money, have not done a day's work in their life, never pay a penny in tax, and they think they have the rights to forced their "freedom and democracy" onto everyone else. gee.

Also, did we noticed that there are Hong Kongers opposing them. in fact, These condoms are a minority despite what the MSM doing their best with their mind bending narratives (a bit like certain members here).

They're gullible and impressionable, the favourite democratic recruits of the west.

They are favourites because they are so expendable. Did I mentioned condoms earlier? ;):D

Why oh why.. This traitor Jiimmy Lai, who clearly has bad intention to the country, supporting the riot, directly or indirectly causing harm and death to the people, spread lies thru his media, secessionist, terrorist etc, why would this person granted bail? Has HK judges haven't learned from Ted Hui case? Why did the judge think this person is credible for his words/promise? How could the judge make sure he won't contact with foreign agents? And why only limit him to contact with foreign officials only? What make the judge think this person couldn't send messages thru other person's, his kids, his syndicate?

Why not the judge learn from Meng case? Get the man to buy/rent a house, put electronic security device on him, put security guards around the house, no one could visit him without permission and must be watch 24/7. Make sure the house has no communication devices. And make that person pays all the bill.

IMO, HK judicial system needs overhauling.

And then we got this. Former judge calls for radical reform of court culture. This one sounds better. HK should consider.

If CCP still has any reservation about judicial reform, then this ruling makes the decision easy. Rumors claim additional changes to the legislature, the election committee, and district councils would be announced this Saturday. Ironically, these judges and rioters are digging their own grave.

I'm still puzzled of why the bail system could be misused so easily. Back during the chaos, the police caught some rioters, put them in jail. Not long after that, some lawyer will bail them out. Then the rioters could join the riot again. Because of this, the rioters were not afraid. This is clearly organized crime. Luckily the police is not part of it. Lawyers and judges were part of it.
When the city is in chaos, those rioters should be considered not like common criminal, and should be treated as heavy crime. Rioters who get caught should start in jail until court sentence, without bail. The judges should not grant bail in chaotic situation. Besides that, there should be some kind of watchdog who observe every single judgement made by the judges.

I still blame education and parenting more than the kids though.

In the West, whether or not a Chinese kid is anti-Chinese and self hating or not is highly dependent on parenting.

It takes parents to guide the kids through the propaganda and constant belittling of Chinese in the media.
