Soon it will be commissioned then what?

No sign of batch 3 J15

What are they going to do ?

J15 will be split from land base, CV-16 and CV-17?

For what the Chinese do so far, the existing aircraft are sufficient.

I assume that no larger number of J-15 will be built. For larger airwings one waits for the next type of aircraft.

Then new type has to be built now

They basically have 24 units split between 3 locations CV-16, CV-17 and land based facility

Actually less than 24 there has been crashes

They still have 7 or 8 prototype that they still using it In fact now they sport operational grey paint instead the yellow primer More than enough I bet the one that they lost should be replaced by now
J 16 is priority since it is the primer attack aircraft for both PLAAF and PLAN and we see large number of them have been produced
