I'm still dreaming of the day we will have a china version of The Walking Dead tv series. TWD is the best goddam tv I've ever seen. if there is one word to describe the state of tv series in china I'd say it's RETARDED.

You'll probably have a long wait. I think any depiction of an apocalypse will be interpreted as the government failing. Plus could anyone in China survive a zombie apocalypse? There's so many people that can turn, it'll make no room for the living to survive.

a Chinese TWD would have to be very action packed. the survivors would have to fight like hell to get away from the urban centers because most of china's population is congregated in the coastal cities and eastern seaboard. to make things more difficult guns are not readily available for Chinese survivors! their destination would be rural areas where they can farm and build safe communities, some place like Xinjiang, Yunnan or Tibet.

I've rented a space movie called the "Europa Report" and it's pretty good. It's basically about an international team of six astronauts picked from the best in the world to go on a mission to land on one of Jupiter's moon Europa. The special effects is pretty cool and the science behind it are pretty realistic. There's no action be more of a suspense thriller (kind of like Apollo 18). I liked it, the dialogue is good.

China has mountains. Lots and lots of mountains. It would be easy to seal off a single pass and keep an entire area secure. The problem is in getting there.

Chinese apartments are actually pretty secure. Everyone has anti-theft doors and windows that would work well against zombies too. If a group of survivors can secure an access to the roof, they could try scrounging up enough fabric to build a hot air balloon and fly out of the city.

If you've seen the last season of The Walking Dead leading to the season finale just last weekend, they've been hinting that food is difficult to find. The Walkers are eating up anything living they could get their hands on and if you saw the last episode humans are resorting to unconventional sources of food. The zombie apocalypse in China would especially be more difficult to look for food and water since the cities are packed and thus more zombies.

I know this is fiction and reduces danger thus less drama but they should just look for an island or maybe a boat they can anchor in the middle of a river. The fishing industry has collapsed so there should be plenty of food in the water.

That's what doesn't make sense. How is a zombie supposed to catch a deer? A living human can't do that without guns or bows, and live humans are much faster than zombies. Then you have animals that are even harder to catch: rabbits, squirrels, birds.

Yeah, but this last season they show Walkers eating rabbits. They didn't show how they caught them. I would imagine if animals got caught in a zombie herd they would be able to take them down. They have been talking zombie herds a lot and one episode they showed a 7500 zombie herd.

Well that only shows Zombies are going after things they can see with the naked eye, and assuming zombies have shitty eyesight maybe its safe to say insects are still thriving because of all the carrion.

Micro-fauna as a food source is something seriously be promoted by the UN and there are now restaurants in places like Canada offering recipes for grasshopper meat and the like, insects are great source of protein and much easier to farm and maintain their populations than cattle or other types of mammals or birds.

Depends on what kind of zombies you're talking about... if you're talking about the slow, ungainly 'retarded' drooling kind than maybe but if you're talking about the ones that are fast, strong, violent then you're basically screwed.
