Regarding the J-10C .... :p just found that nice "whif"

My personal guess would be canted vertical stabilizers and even further increased RAM? Perhaps conformal bays? Not much RCS reduction can be done if you still carry stuff externally.

You can technically use "stealth" coverings similar to those employed on the new superhornet to sheath your missiles until you fire them.

I'm thinking semi recessed hardpoints, RAM, chining of le nose and maybe further shaping the DSI from J-10B to real 5th generation standards. With J-20 style fins and further cleaning up of details would easily qualify for "semi stealth".
I can't see any J-10 derivative carrying conformal weapon bays like silent eagle, it's just not big enough. Although like siege said, weapon pods like those on the proposed super hornet could work.

I hope the Aug 1st team will replace their birds with the B model sometime in future. The J-10B just looks cleaner, more graceful, more modern. It'd be nice for the team to show them around the world.

Interesting idea, they might. They had several versions of the J-7, the last being J-7GB until 2009.

There is a rumour that the first unit to form with J-10B will be the FTTC regiment at Gucheng. If they took the 1 August and the FTTC planes (perhaps less the 6 pre-series aircraft), they would have 12+15 (including however 3+4 J-10S) to form an additional line J-10A regiment.

Some how after the DSI is added to J-10B, it looks like some fat bird from side front view.

I still think J-10A looks nicer.

Might be more to do with the drooping nose. There some dovish/penguin look to it. The canards also makes the nose area look fatter.

I don't like the aug 1st team's plane colour design. Somehow it makes J-10 look a bit clownish and not as sleek. The blue looks a bit drab. Or maybe it is just the big nose from the front view.

I think itstead of a single white line down the centre, it would look better if they have two white lines, joined at the tip of the nose and split to the either side of the cockpit in a curve and follow the rest of the contours on the side of the J-20 to the tail.

J-10A looks flimsy to me while J-10B looks solid and so much smoother. J-10B reminds me of dolphins with all the tough muscles while J-10A looks like one of those deformed deep-sea fishes...
