Russia has passed a law expanding security forces' scope during mobilization. Rumors of a large call-up in the fall has been circulating for some time already. This sounds like the first amendment of the Russian law to support the mobilization efforts.

As predicted, Syrsky is gone.
Now that that's happened, who do you think did a better job? Syrsky or Zaluzhny? I'm leaning towards Syrsky because he had a lot less resources to work with during his time. Zaluzhny was in command in a period where AFU had much more experienced troops and western support and he did things like feeding brigades after brigades into the Bakhmut meatgrinder.

I guess in this 3 way fight of politics everyone except Zelensky loses in the end.
Seems like skill issue. Su-35 should have both radar/avionics range/missile range (R-77M) advantage over the 30 year old F-16s currently employed by Ukraine.
It was down by a Patriot missile in accordance with 3 F-16, 1 as bait.
Was it the same shoot down. From what I’ve read this one happened two weeks ago.
Patriot radar provided illumination. The F-16s also have 120C8s.
