That was part of the point I was making. It must have taken some time, which means it was likely initially legitimate.
Impossible, Beijing is a strict no fly zone for any aircraft. There is basically no way a random GA aircraft was granted permission to over fly Beijing, in theory this should be picked up immediately once the aircraft wondered into restricted airspace. It's so bloody strict that you can't even fly tiny quadcopter drones within the 5th ring.

This belongs in the sports thread but its worth bringing to discussion.

Korea has now officially been eliminated from the World Cup. Its ranking position for third place comeback is now gone point wise.

As I stated earlier, they have a flawed system that relied too much on a few guys. This is what happens when your system is structurally flawed.

I remember some guys on weibo saying their players look like the Chinese national team in terms of playing.

In fact for most part, most of asia sucks this world cup. I know Asia is not Europe or Latin America level, but for the amount of effort and investment, surely they could put up a better fight and at least be at Cape Verde's level.

Who cares? China is not korea and not Japan. These two have a ton of players playing in major European leagues so they have the talent from the foreign leagues. Do you see major European leagues running to buy Chinese players? The Chinese team has no talent. They ranked below Palestine in the world cup qualifiers. They need foreign talents. Since no one is gonna buy the Chinese players in Europe that foreign talent and competitiveness has to be brought home to nurture local talent and competitiveness.
Why does Korea and Japan, which are countries with 1/10th or 1/20th the population of China, higher population density / less open space, and just as much of a focus on education, have better talent?

This year's event is forgettable, highly politicized and Americanized. The final will have a near half hour half-time to allow more commercials. Iran had it worse. They are not allowed to stay in US; forced to stay in Mexico and must drive/fly to American venues for their matches and commute back immediately after. Yesterday, Iran scored a match winning goal in stoppage time (after a +3-hour flight to Seattle) but it was controversially revoked after a lengthy video review with a questionable decision. If they had won, they'd be playing USA in the quarterfinals but there is a general rumor that US and FIFA wants Iran eliminated at the earliest.
Well if their is one thing everyone can be sure of, is that the USA cannot really stand losing and in the event that they are in danger of losing, they will absolutely resort to lying cheating and stealing to take away the well earned win of the opposition and they spit and laugh at the opposition as though they are somehow clever. Kinda helps contributed to the general feeling of decline that the USA resorts to blatant cheating to basically try to feel good

Just tells you how Europeans buy their own bull. Now they're suspicious of Palantir...? No wonder they get angry stamping their little feet when China just doesn't buy into their own nonsense and blindly do what they want. They think everyone is suppose to trust them no questions asked... like how they trusted the US and Palantir handing them all the sensitive data.

I hope this is not the USIS testing the waters for a future 9/11 style attack, followed by China's war on terror on a ideally USIS preferred middle east country. Such events would have China suffer the same thing the US did, negatively affecting its economy and its reputation throughout the world. Effectively killing two birds with one stone if such evil fantasy comes true.

What is USIS ?
