The "peace" was never going to last because neither side even remotely close on their terms to negotiating a peace deal.

Iranian strategy seems to have changed. The US and Israel is escalating rapidly but for some reason the Iranians are choosing not to proportionately response in kind. Energy and water infrastructure are being targeted without tit for tat retaliation. This restraint will be seen as weakness leading to bigger escalation. Unless Iran wants this by having the US blatantly ends the non-existent ceasefire.

Weakness and lack of significant counter attack led to Trump and Israel doing their usual antics again

BUT, it was the correct move for Iran to do anything it could to drag out this "ceasefire" as much as possible. Each week that passes, global oil inventories are going down. Iran's peak negotiating position is not today, not tomorrow not 1 month ago. It's peak negotiating strength will be when inventories go at red and oil shoot to $150 per barrel and even when Trump and his buddies at Axios try to play the oil market, price won't be able to decrease because physical oil will just not exist.

So the smart play from Iran was actually delaying the (imo) inevitable resumption of the war to increase its leverage when oil inventories run out/significant oil demand destruction happens and damaged global economy.

You lose some now because you aim for bigger gains down the road. Good strategy by Iran

Its all because of Pezeshkian and his crowd and now ghalibaf. They have too much control of the government now.

I just hate all the news media or 24 hour coverage have to report what Trump, Bibi and their cronies are saying (or pointless GCC fingerpointing) when I just want on the group updates. What a waste of digital space.
Just a "good cop", "bad cop" routines...the old classic. Forget the nonsense media. It's all part of the game prep by the Intel community. The AI guy/Bibi takes the role of "bad cop", Trump takes the role of the "good and angry cop". Their military intelligence, war planners are basically wearing each others underwear.....don't believe the nonsense they are trying to promote Trump, AI guy having disunity, conflict or whatever nonsense you read in the news. In fact, I can tell you don't be surprise an IDF general is now at this moment, sitting in his bunkers connecting with hardened datalink pipe receiving instructions and even targeting plan and intel where or whom to attack in Lebanon and Gaza and Iran.

the table has turned, Iran's controls over the straits seems weakening, losing its only leverage.

These sort of posts ought to get the responsible user a thread-ban. Blatant agenda-posting like this completely devoid of anything within even the same zip-code of reality supporting it is no different than trolling at best, propaganda at worst.
