Oh FFS and here I just thought of him as a talented film director with a foot fetish...

I didn't know Quentin Tarantino had a foot fetish, but unsurprising. However, I have been told that his appetite for cocaine was so gigantic, it'd make Lindsay Lohan blush!

Though story goes, Tarantino has slowed down significantly ever since getting together with his Israeli wife, which would also partially explain his newfound interest in "civic engagement."

On a more serious note, Tarantino's situation is emblematic of the United States' defense commitments to Israel, especially in the current context.

When America's elites — in the arts, media, business, governance and elsewhere — literally have family living in Israel, it's difficult or even arguably impossible for Washington to say "no" to Tel Aviv without things literally getting awkward at a social, if not familial level.

I mean, he also defends Roman Polanski and Harvey Weinstein so being a creep and pedorapist sympathizer comes naturally.

Here's another:

Holy sh1t, this is dog food-tier. Some dogs actually eat better than this.

We are entering such a Chinese century, that the Americans invented century SPAM to accompany century eggs.

1. The unappetizing meals pictured above are likely midrats served aboard USN warships due — if not overdue — for replenishment.

Whether served at sea or on land, midrats — or midnight rations — are generally speaking a mishmash of leftovers from dinner, select breakfast items, and whatever else happens to be readily available.

So when stores start running low, midrats are usually the first to visibly suffer in terms of both quality and variety.

2. When an American LHA/LHD/LPD/etc. got hundreds of crayon eaters onboard, USN "culinary specialists" working the galley are typically augmented by USMC personnel, which is inevitably the case onboard multiple USN warships — like the

— currently deployed to the CENTCOM AOR.

Unfortunately for the servicemembers aboard those ships, the USMC generally speaking considers hot chow an utilitarian process rather than a culinary experience or a morale booster.

I missed this news. A US Gulfstream G550 and Australian P-8 conducted parallel surveillance sorties over the Woomera Range Complex in South Australia. Officials have confirmed it is indeed linked to the SCIFIRE program, a 15 year joint US-AUS program to develop an air launched hypersonic air breathing missile.

Current specs we're looking at is 1000nm, M5-8. More complex trajectory than boost-glide. Targeting IOC by >2027.

There is ARRW's glide vehicle, LRHW/CPS's C-HGB, and very soon, HACM.

It's successor, HACM, is already nearing service. IOC is expected sometime next year. This is possible due to the outstanding successes HACM as well as SCIFiRE/HAWC had with their testing/development.
