2026 Iran War Strategy and Analysis

Many lessons to be learned by big panda.

Missile defense does not work. More like US missile defense systems do not work.

It never did. According to Prof Ted Postol, he been saying that since the Gulf War against Saddam Hussein. No one listens to him. Like 35 years later, he was right all along.

What still works is air defense against fighter jets, preventing air superiority being established.

Just my amateur quarterback opinion, China has to improve it anti-missile capability, otherwise they got to use the biggest bombs they got to wipe out all bases when the war against the Americans over Taiwan starts.

So we really got to see what develops next.

As far as China is concerned, the Americans will lose any war near China's home court, because only one side has strategic depth due to geography.

That seems to lead to two conclusions, important ones, pertaining to China, for now.

1. Taiwan people might have second thoughts seeing the dismal performance of US missile defense, basically there is none for 35 years, and the kicker there is no rare earths to rebuild inventory, because this is only round 2 of the Iran War, there will be round 3 sooner or later. Whatever Iran is doing, China will do at least 10x times more in terms of wiping out bases. Then depending if the technology allows in this potential liberation of Taiwan war, send in the robots to wipe out anything left. Do not fool around like the Iranians were doing at the beginning of the war.

2. If or when Israel uses their nukes, that changes everything. Anyone who hints at developing a nuke, and is deemed to be an unrepentant fanatical country, others will be very incentivized to go kill them now. That was the American attitude towards the PRC, they want it eliminated when Mao made the bomb. But China was too big take on. Then decades later, with China being involved in hardly any wars, with or without possessing a nuke, it was the Americans who were warmongering all over the place.

So much has changed with this war, and it is not halfway over yet!

bombing of the Kuwaiti desalination plant was pretty significant, could be an attempt to deny the US a staging ground for its ground troops. or the rumour of US marines present in the country is real.

Good. Once they open that door, then you got to wipe them out. Destroy everything.

World War I was awful. It was industrial war. The killing was just so much better.

These people who are in the Middle East ruling their countries are cowards and complete fools. Their countries will not survive an industrial World War I type of conflict.

This is more like World War III with unstoppable precision strikes. :p

So I do not get it.

I am just some amateur ass shit poster doing this anonymously on the internet. Yet I know more about this crap than those in charge and making decisions!

Iran must do the right thing, and wipe out the UAE permanently. There is no doubt in my mind that is the right move. But, will they do it? Can China trust them to do the right thing?

Look at what Russia is doing.

That is the standard, like it or not. When the other side wants to eradicate your own society, whether destroy it internally within or kinetically with war, then what is the proper response?

In this regards, China is kind of unique, so I know I am less hostile and the CCP is too.

The barbarians have been coming after China since time immemorial. That was the mythology, rooted in historical fact.

So China, has dealt people and situations like that.

In the end, we still here. Because all attempts at that type cleansing, was swatted away, like flies.

That is what Deng always said, when he reformed and open up.

Open the window and a few flies will come in.

So, it is kind of weird.

There is no doubt that Iran should react the way it did, and their fault was they did not react hard enough.

The Russians maybe should have not invaded Ukraine, but if they felt that they were at the end of their rope, then it is understandable, that this societal threat must be eradicated.

If China was confronted with the same situation, it would not have reacted the same way, because that is China. Seems to me we got this mentality that we going to outlast you assholes anyways, so why to overreact?

Still kind of very sad to see what is happening the world lighting up like this. The positive is that Russia and Iran are BRICS members, who are winning.

At this point it seems fairly certain the UAE will attempt to jump in with the ground invasion, though given their previous loss against Yemen, going after Iran seems an ill-adviced affair for a country where most of their personel seem to be either mercs or nepo babies princes of some kind.

It now looks increasingly likely that Iran will end this war controlling both sides of the Strait of Hormuz.

And when the houthi lays mine in the red sea and start a toll booth too....

Thus far, the Saudis have shown a decent degree of restraint and good sense and appears to be listening to the sage advice Pakistan and China are no doubt whispering in their ear.

Indeed, I think it’s a sign that some degree of understanding has been reached that the Houthis are now getting actively engaged in the fight instead of being wholly held back as a hedge against Saudi Arabia doing all-in on Trump.

If SA can remain neutral and essentially stay out of this fight for the most part, then they will be in a position to be the peacemakers after, and broker a new ME security framework based on Arab and Muslim self-determination and co-operation backed up with full spectrum Chinese state-of-the-art arms paid for using all the Yuan they will have from ditching the petrodollar for the petroyuan.
