No. They added IRST pods as well for greater situational awareness. I think that it’s a good, relatively inexpensive option to boost combat effectiveness in West PAC while waiting for F-47.
Oh, no doubt, I agree, but to call it a 2.0 is hilarious to me. I remember the potential idea to make a gucci F-35 to make it 80% capable of a 6th gen, and even then, they didn't call it a 2.0. Calling this a 2.0 seems excessive in the most American way.

Extending life or end of life upgrades... which one Im not sure. Will bring some gravy on the raptor.

For the F-35, did it achieve 80% of what it was supposed to do ??? They are trying to save face more or less.

Do we know the full extent of the upgrades the F-22 is undergoing? I would find it very odd that these upgrades only comprise the fuel tanks and IRST system. The US routinely upgrades or outright overhauls the radars, mission computers, early warning sensors are various other subsystems of their aircraft. I don't expect the F-22 to be any different.
