Someone private has to profit is more important than nation security.

As long as the government can tax on those profits, they will jack up the prices.

Is is this is true the United States and probably the world are in real trouble. There maybe an Apocalyptic Cult in the US government. They may think that bringing economic collapse or even nuclear war is a good thing. A hope is fake but the signs are not good.
