On the same day, at the China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s Science and Technology Innovation Conference and the “Academician Forum,” a core event of Science and Technology Week, Academician Lin Feng from the 703 Institute delivered a lecture titled “Development and Challenges of New Ship Power Systems,” giving an in-depth explanation of the core role of marine propulsion in the strategy of building China into a strong maritime power, as well as its future development direction.
Looking to the future, the 703 Institute will continue to focus on major national strategic needs such as building China into a strong maritime power, a science and technology power, and a manufacturing power. Relying on its accumulated technological advantages in marine propulsion, gas turbines, and marine equipment, it will persist in tackling key technologies and promoting innovation in system integration, contributing solid strength to raising the modernization level of China’s marine power equipment and advancing the development of high-end equipment.
