I have a suggestion for these individuals: castrate yourselves, that way you will never have to face your deity for your sins since your deity cannot bear to be in the presence of castrati (according to the rules of your holy book). This also has the added benefit of preventing proliferation of your adherents since you will not be introducing them into a world of sin and torment to be judged unworthy and cast into a lake of fire.

No, why would we want that? It gives Japan the easiest out; where they throw Takaichi under the bus and get away with normal relations without too much pain. It's much better to stretch out the humiliation conga as long as possible so that Japan can suffer properly. Luckily, people like Takaichi tend to be narcissists so she's probably going to avoid self sacrifice as much as possible. I figure that we're going to get 6-9 months of fun out of this one.
