It's the Dutch government and Dutch and German executives at Nexperia colluding to rob a Chinese company of its ownership of Nexperia.

On 30 September 2025 (Netherlands time), the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy issued an Order to Nexperia, instructing that Nexperia and all its global subsidiaries, branches, and offices—30 entities in total—must refrain from making any adjustments to their assets, intellectual property, operations, or personnel. The measure is valid for one year.
On 1 October 2025 (Netherlands time), Ruben Lichtenberg, a Dutch national who serves as the statutory director and Chief Legal Officer (CLO) of both Nexperia Holding and Nexperia Semiconductor, filed—with the support of two other executives, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Stefan Tilger and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Achim Kempe, both German nationals—an urgent petition before the Enterprise Chamber requesting a corporate investigation and immediate provisional measures on behalf of both Nexperia entities.
On the same day, the Enterprise Chamber granted several emergency measures immediately, without a hearing, which took effect at once. These measures included suspending Mr. Zhang Xuezheng from his positions as executive officer of Nexperia Holding and non-executive director of Nexperia Semiconductor; suspending the operation of Article 3 of

of Nexperia Semiconductor, which defines the CEO’s duties and authorities; and placing all shares held by Wingtech subsidiary 裕成控股有限公司 Yuching Holding Limited (a Hong Kong-registered company and the sole shareholder of Nexperia Holding) under temporary management by an independent third-party trustee for management purposes, effective until the Enterprise Chamber’s oral hearing scheduled for 6 October 2025 and its subsequent ruling on the request for immediate relief.
On the afternoon of 6 October 2025 (Netherlands time), the Enterprise Chamber held a hearing, and on 7 October 2025, it issued a ruling granting provisional relief, effective from that date until completion of the investigation or other final resolution of the case.
The key measures are as follows: suspension of Mr. Zhang Xuezheng from his positions as non-executive director of Nexperia Holding and executive director of Nexperia Semiconductor; appointment of an independent, non-Chinese individual designated by the Enterprise Chamber as non-executive director of both Nexperia Holding and Nexperia Semiconductor, vested with decisive voting rights and the authority to independently represent both companies; and placement of all shares of Nexperia Semiconductor—except one—under the management of a court-appointed custodian, whose name will be designated and announced later, for management purposes.
Nexperia was acquired by Wingtech in 2019. Since then, Wingtech invested heavily in R&D, resulting in massive revenue growth and sharp increase in gross profit margin. By October 2024, Nexperia became debt free after fully paying off all its previous debts from before the Wingtech acquisition.
Is it like "tiktoking" it?

A blockade of Japan is act of war, and it would assume China would be fighting US navy to enforce it.
I cannot foresee a scenario where China can accept a nuclear armed Japan so it might well come to war. The fighting would be mostly in the Western Pacific though so it's almost as disadvantageous as a war over Taiwan for the US though so they might well stay out.

Details matter.

Ukraine worked to bog down Russia because of geography and the raw power balance. Ukraine had multiple NATO member states as direct land neighbours, allowing endless and interdiction free resupply. It’s geographical position also allows NATO assets to see deep into the battlefield from territorial airspace and waters. Russian raw hard power is also lacking compared to NATO, allowing NATO to have escalation dominance and the Russians being afraid to effectively challenge them even when they are openly acting as part of Ukrainian kill chains.

SK and Japan are physically cut off from the rest of the west by vast oceans and distances. They are also far smaller in terms of land area. Supplying them during war time will range from extremely challenging to effectively suicide missions.

Chinese hard power is also vastly greater than Russia’s, as well as SK and Japan. Chinese hard power is also far more comprehensive and complete, in that it can undertake the full range of modern combat operations, including SEAD and DEAD that the Russians just cannot really manage. That allows China to hit SK and Japan with its full military might and range of weapons. Simply put, there is no realistic prospect that they will be able to bog the PLA down. Especially if China takes SK and uses that as its springboard to take Japan rather than trying to island hop along the second island chain, which will be a far more difficult and costly campaign.

As for regional instability, that only holds true if stalemate can be achieved on the battlefield. If you cannot hold your line on the battlefield, you will just get steamrolled and peace and stability will return to the region after you have been conquered.
This might sound harsh, but another advantage that China has compared to Russia in a SK/Ukraine analogy is that pretty much all Chinese don't consider Koreans to be part of the Chinese race, unlike how Russians think about Ukraine. There might be a small population of ethnic Koreans in Jilin that might feel that way, but the proportion is completely minuscule and immaterial. This gives China unrestricted national sentiment in terms of annihilating SK if it's presented as an existential threat for China and what must be done needs to be done...

This helium part of earlier posted. These technologies were developed by Soviets in 1960s. It is not just helium but transportation of certification of hazardous materials through road from Russia to China that took while.

What is known about gas supply routes from Russia to China?

In addition to exporting to China and supplying natural gas to the domestic market, "Power of Siberia" supplies raw materials to the Amur Gas Processing Plant, which includes the world's largest helium production facility. The plant was launched in 2021.

Dutch really aren’t beating the stereotypes even amongst Europeans. Typical coming from the people who gave us the modern incarnation of capitalism.

The Land and The King Are One… oh wait COVID’s over, so I guess this must preamble to the three kingdoms era of the US? Should also include the short story where zionists murdered the heir apparent Charlie Kirk of MAGA, and this sounds a lot like the white ship incident of England just before The Anarchy.

Think of all of those times in the first trump presidency when smug US politicians especially pompeo kept coming out with diatribes and grinning about sanctions against “Chinese communist party xyz” every couple of days. Now look at today, would you say these same Americans in gov, military et al are they smiling now?

you can extrapolate this also to the more mundane civilian life; look at the superiority complex smug way certain white peoples like to lecture towards Asians or be a Karen towards Chinese; watch their smugness vanish once they realise they need to come to you for something. There’s a reason in the early days of the Ming ascendancy, the new Ming emperor forced mongol envoys to kowtow properly after deeming their initial kowtow to be insufficient. It’s the exercise of power in humiliating those who had previously humiliated you.
For me, that would be CPC commissars in every Fortune 500 company board with full executive power to terminate, backed up by armed squads or PAP in tactical gear.

follow up on the Nexperia case; I think it goes without saying that China should just destroy all Dutch tech and invalidate all their patents and sanction key individuals involved in this; also, given the centrality of the Netherlands with the EU, we can take this as the EU’s response and consider this as them throwing their lot in with the Anglos.

tsk tsk tsk; white supremacy, even worse than crack it seems.

EDIT: maybe I’m thinking about this wrong; maybe the Europeans and Anglos are really thinking they don’t need to worry about laws and Chinese reprisals because they’ve already committed themselves to world war anyhow

EDIT 2: btw you guys should visit Tainan in Taiwan province and see the memorial at fort zeelandia of the Dutch surrendering to Koxinga. Apparently red hairs Dutch girls became concubines Koxinga afterwards.

They picked a very interesting time to steal NXP, considering China just required everyone to apply for Chinese RE license, including ASML
