Hitler is an individual, I'm talking about an institution.Yeah. Imagine if Hitler got away with it and still got to rule Germany after WWII… No wonder there is no remorse for the Japanese about atrocities committed all over Asia.

WTF?This is like the equivalent of a Chinese person inserting themselves into an African discussion about decolonisation and starting to espouse revisionist history about how the imperialist European powers that committed unspeakable atrocities on Africans in the age of colonialism weren't actually so bad, how colonialism has 'cultural value' and is a 'cultural institution'.
You may think you have noble intentions but your post reeks of hypocrisy. We don't get to lecture you on intra-African conflicts. You don't get to lecture us about how East Asian nations settle their conflicts.
It's honestly very tiresome. This is like the 4th time this has happened in this thread. It doesn't contribute any new discoveries, knowledge or viewpoints but wastes loads of posts going back and forth that eventually devolve into insults. I'm surprised mods being so strict at other times have let this slide for so long. Well I think it's time now for mods to draw the red line once and for all. This is like the equivalent of a Chinese person inserting themselves into an African discussion about decolonisation and starting to espouse revisionist history about how the imperialist European powers that committed unspeakable atrocities on Africans in the age of colonialism weren't actually so bad, how colonialism has 'cultural value' and is a 'cultural institution'.

EDIT: I think this chain of discussion is getting into rage-baiting territory, most rational human beings should be able to see the logic (or lack of, rather) in the statement quoted above. I will not reply further.
Let us all take bets on how long Sanae Takaichi stays in power-me-13 months.BTW ougouah-love your post have never been to Japan-can't underestimate ANY would-be-enemy but the problem I see if Takaichi-crazy-bitch actually strikes/fights China in TW -AR or otherwise the PLA political officers would have a very difficult time restraining PLA/[PLARF/PLAAF/PLAN from launching attacks on their own-they'd be baying for blood.Nice, I'm liking her already
Absolutely yes, also many of us still have stories from family of grandparents murdered,tortured,starved/villages/towns/cities ravaged by IJA etc-it's not from a history book.Curious. What exactly is your source for knowing what people in China really think or say? We have people actually from there who can read and write Chinese. We can do a verification if you want.
Stop thinking of japan along the lines of colonial africa, where outside interference is colonial meddling in something the colonists don't understand, resulting in greater tragedy. The role japan plays in asia is effectively the same as israel in the middle east. You mean becoming like the colonial monstrosity you moan about? Their emperor is a mascot at this point but a vital part of their history, it's for them to decide to get rid if they want to and not an outside force. If you try to destroy part of their culture you'll just create hostile neighbors and you'll end up like Russia. China has grown to become a powerful country in its own way using noninterference, it doesn't need to sink to the level of the ethnic European.
In Brunei case it even more ironic because one of the Bruneian Sultans died in Nanjing and his grave is maintained to this day.Malays in both Singapore and Malaysia are anti-Western principally because of Islamic anti-Zionism; they are not pro-China except in an "enemy of my enemy" sense. Anti-Chinese sentiment is a close second (sometimes equal) priority for both communities as well. The difference between the two countries is that in Malaysia, Malays can safely align with China against the West without being accused of selling out Malays to Chinese domination, because Malaysian Chinese are now a small and shrinking minority. Even then, these accusations still happen, like for example all of PM Najib Razak's projects involving China were attacked by Malay extremists as Chinese colonialism and several of them got cancelled after he lost the election. In Singapore, where Chinese are 70% of the population and the government has a generous policy of immigration preference for foreign ethnic Chinese to shore up Chinese numbers from shrinking, Malays will never align with China because both China and the west are considered immediate enemies to Singapore Malays.

According to your understanding, was destroying Nazi Germany also wrong? You can't simply lump all wars into the same category. The Chinese call people like you "white leftists" or "saints."I said deposing the Japanese monarchy will be acting in the same vain as colonizers, I stated it won't go down well and will create resentment, this will make things difficult for China. What the hell does that have to do with a Chinese person inserting themselves into an African discussion and espousing revisionist history? What revisionist history was I talking about? Heck, wtf are you even talking about? Where did I say anything about the Japanese monarchy not being bad? I ridiculed it and called it a mascot.
