Did Chinese imposed to Japanese their script?
No, they didn't. Japan did not have a script of their own and copied the Chinese one by hiring Toraijin immigrants to teach them. There wasn't a single diplomatic or commercial mission in the entire of Chinese history where Chinese people asked foreigners to write Chinese. In fact, the opposite, it was generally illegal for foreigners to learn Chinese.
Did Chinese, Korean or Japanese racial supremacy existed?
No they didn't. Race is about a belief in having a certain genetic descent. The Chinese understanding of identity was based solely on values and norms, not genealogical descent, and 'civilized' status was not guaranteed to any group of people. For instance, Chinese people who failed to adhere to proper ethics were always considered barbarians. (cf. Shaoyun Yang, The Way of the Barbarians, 2019) The only exception was during times of invasion from non-Han peoples who claimed to be a legitimate part of the Chinese people, such as the Jurchens, the defending side would counter that ancestry was necessary to become civilized. Korean identity was also based on the same parameters, and Koreans self-consciously understood that they did not have genealogical claims to greatness, only cultural, but even then after a few generations they would acknowledge their own cultural inferiority again. Edo period Japan also used the same logic where they claimed that preserving Zhou dynasty values is what made them special, in spite of openly having no genetic connection to them. Even militarist Japan in WW2 was different from the European case as they encouraged Japanese women to intermarry with the imperial subjects to spread Japanese culture, an unthinkable prospect in the West where other races were fit only to be used as mistresses.

Maybe we will see a us naval parade this year. Kinda hard to screw that up, just need to bring a couple carrier strike groups together

in June for the Army’s 250th birthday. Officials had thwarted a similar one in his first term by arguing it would look like a third-world spectacle. After the Washington parade, Trump told aides he was disappointed with the marching, and the U.S. Navy is trying to plan a bigger celebration this fall, hoping for a shimmering spectacle with seacraft, administration officials said.

Trump said he directed U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff to warn Qatar the attack was coming but that it was too late to stop the strike. However, Qatar contradicted such claims from the White House, saying reports it got a heads-up before the attack were false and a phone call from a U.S. official came when blasts were already being heard in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Europe tried to impose their beliefs on the rest of the world more than anyone else. That’s the difference. Again, was it about control out of insecurity or did they do it for fun? I’m giving the lesser of two evils. If you like the worst one…

This is the lesson I got out of 9/11 the immediate reaction in the couple of days after the attack. (Speaking only on a personal level, not some grand historian or some big theory on something.)

Remember Chairman Mao sayings? Political power comes out of the barrel of a gun.

How they were going on and on, about defending values, and a fight for to preserve "our society" or "way of life", they were hysterical.

That told me, they were different.

Chairman Mao, political power come out of the barrel of a gun.

They were different. Those few days after 9/11 seemed like the way they were talking that Western civilization rested on guns. They wanted to destroy Western civilization, the enemies of the United States. Therefore, guns will preserve Western civilization.

But that means Western civilization entirely based on guns for its survival.

That to me, as an ethnic Chinese, that identifies as fresh of the boat, that is totally nuts.

Judging from way they were talking right after 9/11, that was the truth.

Actually, want to say even more, could be the West just naive extremist, but one thing is certain, they do come across as incredibly insecure.

It is a complicated subject, and this post of mine was going to double or triple in size. Did not want to do that. So will leave it at that.

It is what Zhou En-lai said at a party with foreign guest, it was a diplomatic party I remember the story.

When discussing history, someone ask Zhou En-lai was the French Revolution good? The implication of course it had to be good.

Zhou En-lai replied very simply and pleasantly, "Too early to tell."

Either the Chinese are flippant, or have confidence in their view of things.

So, what drives Western civilization? It is conceit, that they think they are better than anyone? Or is it just instincts of survival, that they do not really feel that secure?

No white person would ever have a reply like Zhou did.

History is linear to them.

It could be a bluff on the EU to somewhat shift the Ukraine narrative and pressure onto them instead of Trump. This only works if the EU doesn’t call their bluff and go ahead and commit economic suicide. If they do then Trump gets boxed into a corner between Mid-Terms economic trade war or an hawkish bipartisan congress as Ukraine slowly crumbles.

MAGA “promising” to match the EU response to starting an economic war.

Sky high energy prices and expensive goods and commodities? MAGA and the hawkish Europeans is not going to survive the political cost of an economic attritional war.
Navarro was just on screen talking about how BRICS wouldn't work because they're all producers but now America and the EU combined are just consumers in a world financed by intrinisically worthless bills and artificial money. I'd be much happier to be on a team with excess energy and goods production than one with just printed paper money useful for nothing but fire-starting when the heat runs cold and the items don't arrive. The end of the current world trade model will be an adjustment for the producers but it will be the death of Western power in the modern world.
