Return Americans to the moon, maybe (if Artemis II pans out).
Land on the moon,..highly doubtful with the

in my honest opinion. Artemis III NLT 26 months out is simply too aspirational right now.

Also, this is not the thread for this, a tweet like that goes here.

Well, he talked abt CN space.

Future space policy is an interesting topic and I think it's relevant for this thread, or the more dedicated one:

Boots and flag mission in the 21st century is simply too small a goal to justify building such an extensive infrastructure for. I think everyone recognizes the real goal here is who will build the more efficient architecture to utilize cislunar space, with water ice being the most valuable resource. For this reason the 'moon race', while politically loaded, is very real in terms of practical logistics.

On a side tangent, IMO the Outer Space Treaty will have to be completely rewritten with the way things are headed (Artemis, ILRS, Golden Dome etc).

Well I guess only Americans would know if they actually already finished the race in 1969;)

Cis-lunar infrastructure require actual technological development that goes well beyond earth launch vehicle and only China is / is able to develop the whole set right now (ISRU with CE-8, autonomous lunar orbit docking, autonomous terrain obstacle avoidance, CSS expansion, etc). US Artemis was just Trump's personal fantasy back in 2017 which Elon then tapped into to fund his own pet project, hence the 20 launch per mission architecture that nobody including Elon think makes sense, i.e. nobody in the US actually cares about cis-lunar infrasturcture.

In this sense it's perfectly understandable why Americans see it as a race, they actually do consider it over if they can plant a flag, as to why they care so much about doing something they (allegedly) already did, who knows.

* Also, this is the resume of the current NASA Admin: "Sean Patrick Duffy is an American politician, former television presenter, lobbyist, attorney, and lumberjack". Trump almost certainly appointed him to run NASA because he saw Sean Duffy on TV in a lumberjack competiton.

A new CASC pulse production line for liquid hydrogen engines

. The line is highly automated compared to the old line and can produce one YF-75 every four days.

What is a pulse production line?
Just basically a term for how a product advances on the assembly line. So let's say you have all stations working at the same time, then, at some fixed signal or time beat, the work-in-process will jump forward together, one station to the next station, then production or work continues until the next pulse, then they jump again, so on and so forth. This is opposed to the traditional manufacturing method where parts move continuously. Generally pulsed production, as far as this goes in aerospace, is better. This is due to the complex work that is required on each part, especially within final assembly. You cannot have that precision at least now, when it moves constantly.

Edit: Also for anyone wondering, I will be coming out with those space posts tomorrow, just need to catch up on some sleep and not damage my health, currently overworking and school just started back up so... fun.

This is quite extensive

satellite delivery and launch, drone cooperation, satellite constellation data sales and servicing.

Says it is leading China's effort to compete against SpaceX.

Yes, Russian sources confirm that "the head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade visited the Piesat Information Technology company, which is the largest operator of telecommunications satellites and remote sensing devices in China."
