I think the salient point is that there is a right and wrong way to go about this.

The right way is to embrace China, work with China and become part of China’s BRI to leverage China’s know-how, technology, capital and expertise to build a better future for all together.

The wrong way to do it is the Jai Hind way where they think China’s achievement is nothing special and they can easily be the next China because it’s their turn and time, and that somehow China owes it to them to actively make way for them or else they can somehow bully and brow beat China into submission, or else threaten to flood China with refugees.

Choose the former and you will enjoy unprecedented prosperity and advancement. Choose the latter and you will find out China can fuck you over as hard and thoroughly as any Anglo nation.

No one gets to be a superpower by being a pussy afraid to crack heads when necessary.
