I'm very doubtful that all of these systems are in service or even in evaluation.

We would've seen all of these CCAs in flight testing if they were indeed in service. You're not going to convince me that these 6 new airframes managed to complete all stages of flight and evaluation trials whilst bypassing the prying eyes of civilian cameras and social media.

Even when it comes to the armored vehicles, it is doubtful that the new tank and IFVs have entered service when there has been little to no photos of them prior to the parade rehearsals.

It's probably just a rehash of the GJ-11 saga.

On the contrary, I think the whole point of this parade is it tells us PLA opsec is actually really really good.

It's fairly common for even in house aerospace company UAV projects to make their first flights and progress along development without us knowing. When it is for projects with the effort of PLA opsec, it is fairly believable... especially given these UCAVs/CCAs are not exactly that big to begin with.

Like, if they can hide the huge WZ-X to the degree that we only see it on satellite at Malan air base earlier this year, they can absolutely hide a half dozen tactical fighter sized unmanned aircraft from civilian prying eyes for years and years.

And for AFVs it is even more easy.

Oh wow it actually is called CJ-1000, it wasn't just a made up name by Shilao and co. They joked that some of those numbering on new stuff has wacky logic and suggested future names like DF-10000, then followed by an overflow and the generation after that being called DF-3.

Now I can't wait to what see CJ/DF-One Million is like...
