Chechnya and other places in Russia don't have good beaches. Turkey and Egypt beach resorts are very popular for Russian tourists.

There are beaches / sand in Crimea and Dagestan. despite risk involved of sending tourists to same places where soldiers coming in and out of conflict the result is showing in positive economic growth. This risk tolerance not for this economic growth alone.

JSDF conducted a drill in which they assumed China would threaten to nuke Japan (???) and then They would ask US to preemptively nuke China and US agreed (?????).

I think this news summarized the mental state of the vast majority of Japanese people today perfectly. 1.They think (hope?) Chinese people are as bloodthirsty as them. 2.They pretend to (or really do) not know Chinese using only conventional forces can delete the JSDF. 3.They think US can somehow just nuke China with no opposition and this attempt will only make China collapse and somehow they will come out unharmed...... 4.They just want to have some reason to kill Chinese people...... This is fascism. They are evil and ignorant at the same time.

I feel that the japanese are just getting a bit shit-scared for her future as her enemies like to exact retribution later with interest(i.e Russia 1945 "August Storm in revenge for 1904-1905 Russo-japanese war) and China's butcher's bill is enormous......just not right now.Deleting a bunch of bowing/head scraping-to-the-floor geriatric japanese doesn't bother me at all.
