2025 Israel - Iranian conflict

The United States obtained intercepted communication between senior Iranian officials discussing this month’s U.S. military strikes on Iran’s nuclear program and remarking that the attack was less devastating than they had expected, said four people familiar with the classified intelligence circulating within the U.S. government.

The communication, intended to be private, included Iranian government officials speculating as to why the strikes directed by President Donald Trump were not as destructive and extensive as they had anticipated.

“It’s shameful that The Washington Post is helping people commit felonies by publishing out-of-context leaks,” said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. “The notion that unnamed Iranian officials know what happened under hundreds of feet of rubble is nonsense. Their nuclear weapons program is over.”
If they knows their comms are monitored, they could be doing a bit of trolling. Then again, I've seen some interesting videos about defenses against these bunker busters so there's a decent chance Fordow made it.

Welll.....if they are smart they will develop it in secret, proper secret and on the day of the inauguration of the next president they do the test and show the world.

Yeah but gaza was slower, There was no real resistance/need to use big expensive interceptors, gaza cant find back, and it was spread over longer period of time, over 20? months now.

Meanwhile Cost estimates for just israel AD was $285+ million a day, combined with plane/navy, us/uk +nato support it was $1 billion a day.
Nato needs those supplies for themselves because of russia factor from their pov too. Iran depleted/damaged them more in 12 days than gaza or anyone else could in 2 years.
Also keep in mind there are rare-earth shenanigans going on too, with lesser and lesser supplies and more and more hungry mouths for it.
Gazans lobbed more projectiles than Iran at Israel, and the latter used more Interceptors for Gazan attacks. Gaza launched hundreds (maybe thousands) of rockets, mostly home-made unsophisticated DIY type.

Since you claim to have "plenty" to work with, cite some specific footage already.
Not doing your homework for you.

You're wrong as usual: you're operating under the erroneous assumption that the US is both willing and able to put a significant number of American lives in harm's way inside Iran in a clandestine capacity.
You're operating with poor comprehension. US was more than willing to do Israel's dirty work in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia and Libya OPENLY. Nothing clandestine about it. What makes you think now that US will make an exception for Iran? The only thing holding US back is a proper strategy and the regional implications on US allies across the Persian Gulf.

The Russian IADS regularly gets penetrated by drones too. It ain't that easy to spot low flying aircraft. And the Israelis have US ISR telling them where the radars are. They can just go around them.
Meanwhile the US has AWACS in Turkey covering Iranian airspace.
USAF and RAF (UK) are running recon sorties over Iraq by Iran's border daily for the past I dunno how many years, especially focusing around Erbil (bordering NW Iran). Rivet Joint, E-3, C-12, and E-8 are frequently spotted on FR24. Past several months have also shown Canadian, German, French and Italian AF assets of unknown types flying in the area.

Israel has 45 F-35s. If their F-15s and F-16s are held back because of fear of being shot down, that reduces their effective fleet from 250 planes to 45 planes. Iran also has home advantage because they can fly with high missile loadouts defensively while Israel has to run drop tanks.

J-10s aren't solely useful against other planes, they can also shoot down subsonic cruise missiles and recon drones.
Iran's immediate best bet may be to focus on electronic warfare & jamming. Probably their ancient relics like F-14 and F-5 can carry modern Chinese EW pods.

Yes but those were smaller rockets, The bigger systems such as Pac's /thaads/ Arrow/David arent used for those, they re used for Ballistic missiles. Meanwhile mostly Iron dome is used for the gaza-lebanon rockets etc, so Iron dome would be depleted/used up not the rest.

Iranian Def Plane in taking off from Pakistan, I wonder if they asked for some help/intel etc

As I suspected Iran missiles did serious damage to Israel, more that the MSM, who lets admit the reality, Israel controls the narrative, is willing to admit. And you don't land so many missiles in important buildings if the CEP is not good enough.

Yep yep, they are hiding deaths too.
As I suspected earlier, Azerbaijan to Tehran seems more likely
Wait there is an israeli base in azerbaijan? and that wasnt targeted ? But QATAR WAS? What??
Yes, see the route map from this guy.

Assuming this is somewhat accurate (we alteast know caspian sea was used) for sure
Can someone more knowledgeable tell me that If IAF had air superiority over western iran, why would they go about the long way like that? For the surprise element? Wont it be quicker and less complicated to go straight?
