Korea did something similar but later reinstated the app, as Deepseek agreed to ask a few more privacy related questions, when the user installs the app. The user just need to be informed.

If you ask me, they should've stayed grounded for another 400 years. As for inviting guests, IMO only for partner nations that are close enough, trusted enough, and sufficiently open enough to Chinese influence.
