Yes Republicans only see what's superficial. They've been telling themselves they have been paying for people on welfare in blue states wasting their money for a long time. No it's the other way around. Out of something like the 22 states that take more money than they pay in taxes, 20 of them are red states. I imagine if blue states stopped sending money to the federal government Republicans will militarily attack and invade them. Look at all the myths about China they've realized are false in Trump's trade war. That's why you see all these domestic political attacks on China right now because that's all they can do. They want to militarily strike China just to show who's boss but then they might suffer deaths. That's why they don't but the anger only grows as they find out how not omnipotent they are.

Well, if Trump can claim that rest of the world is ripping US off, what stops Newsom from claiming that the rest of US is ripping California off?

Wow, things are escalating quickly. I know a civil wars was in the cards given Trump inability to handle things like a mature adult but turning the nation into a place that is one step away from Libya, that takes a special kind of stupid and quite frankly karmic might I add given how the USA loves to cause these things around the world (does the whole HK thing right a bell). If things escalate and turn into a scenario out of that Civil War movie that came out last year, it’s like they can’t wait for some kind of prophecy to happen, they decide to make it happen. Seriously, Trump might actually the greatest gift that China has actually received, given how his fuck ups ended up helping China from semi conductor independence, pushing China to develop new supply chains and perhaps embarrassingly of all, help improve Chinas image without spending a cent. I wonder how his handlers must be feeling right now given how things are going from bad to worse. I doubt Biden is quite as bad as this guy
