Chinese vendors can pay the shipping costs no problem! The only difference in the future will be that item prices will go up for the American retailers by the same amount. (plus a 10% "convenience fee")
The more angry they get, the more they will lash out at whatever is nearby and hurt themselves in the process. I've had anger issues in the past and have done really stupid things like punch holes in my walls which only ended up injuring my hand and damaging my own property. With how emotion-filled (resentment, jealousy, rage) the US is at the moment, both in government and the population at large, this is the the type of thing, metaphorically, they will end up doing.
