It ain't what you think. China wants to come off as pragmatic. Trump doesn't hence why the world is turning off from Trump and the US which is what China wants to avoid for itself. All you have to ask is why does the US have all these complaints if these tactics works. Look at the great deal Trump arranged in Geneva and look at how the US complains that China broke its word... China is dragging you along because you think it works but the US is still complaining. That's the point and look how China is looking favorable in the world over the US.

That's way too intelligent for him. @Captainquirk has been mentally dragged to believe that Trump won because Xi picked up his call after weeks of begging and flattery when the original goal was to suppress Chinese growth in a trade war and failing that, to NOT negotiate with China unless China came to him with unlateral de-escalation on tariffs. And he also thinks that slapping NATO allies as well as putting the US economy into contraction while increasing Trump's personal wealth represent American victories. He's so desperate to paint American victories at this point that if Trump/Trump's America can fart without blowing out his/its intestines on the ground, he's saying that's a major achievment LOL
