I know half of Americans read below 6th grade grade, but if you read it slowly you might notice it's not China who initiated the call was it, lol.

China has plenty of time, but imminent widespread shutdown of western industry from RE ban didn't gave Trump much time did it.

But hey, see how easy it was to get an audience once you adopt the right mindset and initiate the call to kiss Xi's ass? Begging probably won't be enough, but at least it's a start.

No wonder Trump fired all of his China experts. I’d be pissed too if I had to kowtow to my geopolitical nemesis like this.

Read the article and what I wrote again.

China keeps on answering Trump's call for talks and negotiation. So much for widespread shut down of western industries and empty shelves.

Im going to give you a preview with what's going to happen as part of these ongoing negations and trade deals.

There is going to be some relaxation of rare earth exports. In exchange Trump will relax some of the restrictions on china.

Tariffs will come down to a certain level that is livable for both countries. Chinese suppliers will eat some of it (some of them have already done so as part of their negotiations with their retailers). The remaining portions will be passed on to consumers and absorbed by the retailer themselves.

Everyone tells me China has the upper hand right; can destroy American industries. So why they even talking.

Concerning RE ban we will have to wait and see.

Concerning the Chinese suppliers already eating tariffs, I think you are jumping the gun, I don’t remember there having been any confirmation, there has been offers but no confirmation as yet. It will probably happen to some degree, but it is yet to be seen to what degree or if there is a consensus or conclusion between the supplier and brands yet.
