They complete with others. But who will they sell to? Other equipment makers have tested their equipment extensively on production lines.
They are selling to customers worldwide, displacing the traditional equipment makers in the process.

TSMC, SK and Samsung are only buying from AMAT, LAM, TEL and ASML.They are selling to customers worldwide, displacing the traditional equipment makers in the process.
What is the current level of semiconductor technology in China? Is the EUV lithography machine or 5nm chip still far away? I am not very familiar with semiconductorsThe sales person at SiCarrier says that these equipment can cover 5-28nm
My guess is they sell mainly to those new fabs with the most obscure namesThey complete with others. But who will they sell to? Other equipment makers have tested their equipment extensively on production lines.

These represent most of the manufacturing in the world. Rest of the others are small fish.
you also know that, foreign companies still hold more than 50 percent market share in China.. there is a massive room of growth for domestic SME firms. so SiCarrier entry in semi equipment is encouraging. They complete with others. there is where i agreed with you.. TSMC, SK and Samsung will buy mostly from AMAT, LAM, TEL and ASML..TSMC, SK and Samsung are only buying from AMAT, LAM, TEL and ASML.

Amec has a decade of experience. Their tools are well tested in fabs. They know how to work with their customers. Exceptional customer support is the number one reason why ASML is on the top. SiCarrier will struggle against AMEC and ACM.you also know that, foreign companies still hold more than 50 percent market share in China.. there is a massive room of growth for domestic SME firms. so SiCarrier entry in semi equipment is encouraging.
second point, huge expansion coming online from all domestic companies include Nexchip , HH and even small players. and domestic tools is in high demand.
so its good to have SiCarrier entered in semi tool industry..
there is where i agreed with you.. TSMC, SK and Samsung will buy mostly from AMAT, LAM, TEL and ASML..
but remember, TSMC verified AMEC 5nm capable plasma etching tool. so outside Lithography Chinese tool makers can compete with AMAT, LAM, TEL and ASML at least in 28nm/14nm category.
deposition, etching, ion implantation, CMP, and cleaning, Chinese manufacturers have very competitive tools.
What do you mean they will struggle? according to @tphuang they are already the 2nd biggest SME.Amec has a decade of experience. Their tools are well tested in fabs.
