The US pays farmers not to grow. Why? Because too much means deflated prices. The US only grew soy because it was a cash-cow that China only bought. The US doesn't really use it. Increasing production only works against US profits. Love the trap the US trip themselves on. Don't sell high value products to China that they can't get from anyone else and then expect China to buy from you that China can get from anyone else? Not a good business model.

China didnt achieve that by chance, China has 1500 year of meritocratic tradition and a culture that values rationalism dating back almost 4000 years, where even China's great flood methology involved merit based evaluation, experimentation and engineering solutuons. In the west the same methology just had one special guy build a boat and let everyone else drown because they deserved it.

China has always believed in equality and rational solutions, and the west always believed in social darwainism and everyone for themselves, the difference explains everything that happened over the last 4000 years including right now
